I'd say I fall between light and moderate. Been quite a few years since I did any proper roleplaying regulary. Although I suppose you could say that I "roleplay" the characters I play in games. But outside that not that much if at all the last few years. Tried getting back into it somewhat in swtor, but didn't catch on with me. Hoping teso can change that.

Definitely very light. This is honestly my first forum I even moderately role-play. Even then the character I role-play is pretty much just me injected into a female khajiit with an interesting back story. I kind of made it a little too easy on myself.

I like to create a backstory and make in-game decisions according to my character concept, but I'm generally out-of-character in voicechat and such. I guess I'd say light-to-moderate RP.

I always roleplay myself. I don't think my roleplaying is necessarily roleplaying i am more or less putting myself into another world.

Also, FWIW, I can't stand it when ppl have leetspeak names in a MMORPG or something that isn't a proper noun like naming your character "Fatality." But even that is better than "F474L!Ty." I seriously home Z-max has a strict naming convention.

Yeah, basically what I do. Although, I will definitely break character while trying to do all the quests.

With the amount of people trying to play the game, there has to be a lot of flexibility with the names. Otherwise you'll run out of names fairly fast, and it'll devolve into random strings of characters just to find an untaken name. I personally don't like seeing names with lots of Xs or Is in front of/behind names. Leet-speak names also tend to rub me the wrong way, but not as much. As long as your name isn't obnoxious gibberish (F474L!Ty is definitely in the gibberish category), I can just ignore it. However, I understand it's a necessary evil at times.

One thing that I find that's in horrible taste are names like "Super Sniper" or "Tanker McAwesome". Many people with these names don't snipe or tank. It makes no sense at all to me.

Granted, my name seems like gibberish. However, it's actually the name of a character from another game. Just figured I should make that point if I'm making fun of names.

I love to RP and I RP semi-hardcore. I always get into the zone when playing my character and I usually come up with a back story that explains his adventuring. Although whenever I am doing things like raiding and PvP I will often turn my RP mode off. Sometimes I like to tie rp in with PvP as well. It is just pretty awkward if you die.

Just rp with the last name Winchester. Then it's understandable that you come back when you die.

The flexibility comes with the inclusion of last names. Though they've already said that no name can have more than two repeating letters and no more than one number. Though that was at the pre-alpha thing...so that might change.

Yeah, I made that post before I knew about last names. It's going to be interesting to see how it works out.

I'm in quite a few heavy Rp guilds In WoW currently, I would consider myself to be a pretty heavy role player.

I am a writer, but the only times when I have ever actually role played were the very rare instances when I play D&D with my brother and his friends. xD
And I did do some role playing on a few forums, but that was twelve or thirteen years ago. I can barely remember anymore. I just remembered that the other members of the forum outweighed my writing skill by far, and I felt like a puny ant in their presence. xD

O TES, why hast thou entranced me so? That reality is naught but a fragment, as I bask in your splendour and commune in your depths for as long as this mortal life shall carry me.
