Faction & Race:
Ebonheart Pact (Nord)
Name: Beor Strong-Heart Bormahu

Age: 22

Length: 1.93 M

Gender: Male

Date of birth: 2E 560, Frost Fall (day unknown)

Birthsign: the Lord

Occupation: Skald

Appearance: Tall and hardened, muscular body. His blonde hair comes down a tad bit over his shoulders. Most of the time he leaves his hair unbraided though it is not uncommon for him to have a (few) braid(s) in it. He has green eyes that resemble the thick green forest of Falkreath, the place where he grew up. When looking into them you can tell that in his mind he is older and wiser than his age tells us.

As for his armor:
Beor mostly wears worn leather/hide travelling gear.
He has a thick brown/dark greenish cloak that keeps him warm on cold Skyrim nights. Around his neck he wears an amulet with ancient markings of his clan on it.

Weapon(s): As his main weapon Beor uses his steel sword. He always carries a dagger or hunting knife with him incase of close-quarter combat. Beor is also known to be skilled with a bow and axe, though these are not his primairy weapons of choice. Among all that he has a shield, mostly slung on his back. He carved ruins in the ancient Dragon tongue into the iron-rimmed rim of his shield.

Background: Beor is from the Thorin bloodline, the first Bormah of the Bromlokiir. This makes him the heir to the title, since he is an only child.

Beor was born during the last few months of the Akavir invasion, and the most unfortunate and tragic months for the Bromlokiir during that time period. His place of birth in Skyrim was being attacked by the last remnants of the Akavir and Beors mother and a dozen others, unfit to fight, were urged to flee and they made for Cyrodiil. Leaving Beors father, Wulfgar, with the rest of the warriors of the Bromlokiir fighting off the Akavir. Beor was only a few months old.

Wulfgar Bormahu died while fighting the Akavir among many others of the clan.

Somewhere in the North-Western part of Cyrodiil their party was attacked by bandits. The bandits slew all of them, not leaving one of them alive, including Beors mother, Ysabel.

Two days later little Beor was found by a Nord hunter and ex-soldier Gunjar Snow-Song. Who took him to his home just outside a small village in the hold of Falkreath.

Gunjar and his wife raised Beor as one of their own. Beor had a happy childhood. He'd often go out hunting and exploring with his friends, or with his father. Or playing the lute and singing songs of old with his mother and father at the fireplace, after having dinner. Like every young Nord, his foster father taught him how to fight, thus Beor got the base of his skill of swordsmanship. The only thing that bothered Beor during his youth was the loss of his actual parents, where he came from, his clan, his heritage, his true home.

At the age of fourteen, Beors father: Gunjar Snow-Song, died while hunting with his son. A troll had come out of no where while they were tracking an elk. The troll had mortally wounded Beors father.
Beor managed to kill it after a tough fight and survive, though his father wasn't so lucky.

His mother was bitten the winter before by a wolf and had died of an infectious disease two months later. He had no one left and he took some supplies from his home and set off into the open world before him.

Beor pursues his life goal of trying to find the former members of the Bromlokiir and to reform the great Clan and bring it back to its former glory.

Beor started his adventures off with being a young, travelling bard. Also known as a skald. Beor would play at inns and taverns for small tips in order to pay for food and shelter. Though often he had to hunt for his food and sleep in sheds and stables to survive.

Throughout the following year of exploring that followed he learned lots of new things. The adventurers' life was hard and he already had quite a few thrilling stories to tell at his age. He had encountered dangers and had overcome them all. This made him tough.

At the age of fifteen he got into a fight with a boy of his own age in a towns tavern. They went fist to fist and soon the fight turned into the strong Beor being the only one dealing blows. Little did he know that he was beating up a boy who was the son of the towns elder. Soon the men in the tavern started mingling in the fight by starting to throw punches at Beor. Beor being overwhelmed couldn't do anything but throw his hand over his head while protecting himself against these blows and in a desperate attempt kicking the villagers off him.

All of the sudden a figure emerged from the dark corner of the tavern, who had been drinking his mead on his own, away from the others. The man jumped into the fray with a cry and started punching back the seven or eight villagers or so who were attacking Beor. The fearsome fighter took on the whole group and as Beor recovered he started fighting along side the unknown warrior. The man took on the last villager coming at him. The warrior deflected the villagers attack and threw a serie of punches back at him, all landing. As a finisher he bashed the villagers face full on on the tavern counter with tremendous force. The villager dropped, completely knocked out, on the tavern floor with a thud. Beor was awed by the mans strength. The man muttered something vague to himself about not liking the fellow anyway. As the warrior turned around he strode towards Beor and introduced himself as Balgir Winterborn. Before the young Beor had the chance to say his name in response, they both heard the commotion of more townspeople outside who had heard the noises of the brawl and had come to take care of any troublemakers.

"No time to talk lad! We got to get the hell out of here!" the man now known as Balgir said.

Beor and Balgir ran towards the tavern backdoor, Balgir sweeping up a tankard of mead while by-passing a table and downing it all in one big gulp as they ran, smashing the tankard on the floor as he finished. He crashed through the backdoor, Beor following from behind. As Balgir got back to his feet the townspeople spotted the duo at the other end of the inn.

"Alright lad, I've seen how hard you can fight, now let us see how fast you can run!" Balgir said as they started running towards the wilderness, the townspeople angrily yelling and roaring while running after the pair.

They made it to safety and laughed of the excitement and adrenaline untill their sides ached. That is how Balgir Winterborn and Beor got to be friends. In the following years Balgir and Beor travelled toghether. Whether it came to fighting, women, history or downing a flagon of mead in matters of seconds, Balgir taught him the following seven years all he knew. Balgir served as mentor and guardian.

Dark times lie ahead and the Ebonheart Pact and Tamriel needs brave and capable warriors more than ever. Molag Bal and Mannimarco have returned and the Aldmeri Dominion seeks to conquer all of Tamriel and to dominate all. Enemies are attacking and invading his homeland. He starts seeing all the terrors and horrors that the world has to offer around him. Skyrim needs the help of the clans once more. The Bromlokiir shall rise again, this Beor vows.

Thus the story of the rise of the Bromlokiir begins...

I have great respect for the ones who read the whole biography.

Sorry for its length

Very nice story. Updating it often is something we always have to do for a good backround story to our characters. I'm still not done with mine. If you like, as an idea, you could add entries, as if in a journal, filling in any major events to your character's life as we draw close to the beginning of the war and after its start. I'm doing that, which on the one hand makes the bio reaaaally lengthy, but it adds a lot of depth to it, I think. Just a thought. A wonderful story nonetheless. And I like your writing style. Seems a bit R.A. Salvatore influenced??? :)

I'd have to be very honest with you,

I have no idea who R.A. Salvatore is, haha! But yes, me and Baldar (Balgir Winterborn) are writing stories of our adventures toghether. Our first one is already out: "A Giant Sack - The Tales of Beor and Balgir" in the roleplay section, check it out!

R.A. Salvatore is the creator of the Forgotten Realms series (based on the D&D franchise). I'll go read your stories right away. I like your writing style! ;)

I like how Bromlokiir members have tie ins to the Bromlokiir nears the end of their backstories. It adds something like a connection between their characters and the guild that makes things feel consisted and interrelated as opposed to characters isolated in their own stories.

Keep up the good work!

I just discovered my Bromlokiir bloodline (see character bio for details - backround story entry 3), so I'll start adding some stories involving more of the bromlokiir soon. :)

I love this. Very, very authentic, and I don't think I've read or written a more detailed background. Keep up the good work, I look forward to meeting him. I'll be patiently waiting a year. (Oh crap).
