About Camlorn Historical Integrity Movement
Main Guild Summary
Greetings, all. For those of you who did not receive my summons, though I can't imagine why you'd be here in such a case, the purpose of this meeting will now be made clear.

In the past, when conflicts arise amongst the states, nations and empires of Tamriel the first and greatest casualty is regularly the least lamented; I speak of course for history. It is well known that history is written by the victors, but it is also shaped in the interim by those most deft at manipulation. Most subtly with bribery, backroom deals and propaganda (of which the recent 'song of the skald-king' was a scoff-worthy example), and most forcefully with the genocide of books known as library burning; the dreadfully common result of soldiers being confronted with literature.

In every era it has been common for the well-read and refined members of society to band together during such crises for the sakes of Truth and Accuracy, and now is no exception. It falls to the literati, such fine examples of which I see before me, those without political motivations and house loyalties that might otherwise colour their tireless record keeping and rigorous fact-checking, whose prime allegiance belongs to historical propriety, to maintain an unbiased representation of both the past and present, for the sake of the future.

Now many of you have no doubt heard the rumblings from the East, of those dunmer-in-furs who've taken up the mantle of the Marukhati. That cabal has laid first claim to this noble calling, you might argue, and creating a rival faction would be contradictory to our very goal. While this cannot be denied, one need only look at that bizarre cult to be left feeling uneasy. Following monkey prophets and debaucherous gods, and apparently being led by a caribou or something, they hardly seem equal to being the sole proprietors of accurate historical representation. It is for this reason that I have extended to them an offer of affiliation; an offer which they have graciously (if eccentrically) accepted.

So without further ado, the First Accurate Record of Membership is below; for your first act of office please create an accurate and unbiased account of your association with the Movement. In line with our policy of accurate representation from all perspectives, membership is open to all walks of life, down to the lowliest raga and tribal orsimer, though a test of basic literacy will be required.
A sister guild to the Marukhati of Ebonheart and an as-yet-undefined guild of the Dominion, this is a group for appreciators of the obsure and fantastical lore of the elder scrolls, as well as detractors from the currently feared blandness of TESO. We share in all the goals of the marukhati, including but not limited to throning an elk, protecting (stealing) the elder scrolls, and harassing the devs about the general inconsistencies and unimaginative mundanetude in their world.

Basically, if you want to be in the Marukhati, but also want to be in the Daggerfall Covenant, this is the place for you.

I hear thy summons, Breton! Such transcription errors cannot honorably be let alone. For if they are, they shall fester and corrupt the rest of the grand Arena, leaving it to die an inglorious peaceful death! No Orsimer - nor Redguard or Breton - would be wise to shirk such a challenge to our world's sacred dignity. For Nirn, every sacrifice was, is, and will be necessary (though its not like the Time-Dragon gives a ho-ha-ho!).

For Marukh!

For Merry Eyesore the Elk!
