Hello TESOF!

Just came across this video which provides us with information on the adventure zone that is Craglorn.

Quote:Craglorn is the first Adventure Zone coming to The Elder Scrolls Online. In this video, we give you a closer look at the zone and the adventures you and your allies will have there. Don't miss the information about our new 12-player Trials! For more information about The Elder Scrolls Online, visit our website:

Personally looking forward to Trails with my fellow vampire family!

Also good that I no longer have to call skyshard caves, skyshard caves. Was horrible not being certain that they were called Delves. I'm strange so yeah, It bothered me not knowing, same with those elite skull camps, ugh. Creepy

Craglorn

The area itself:
  • Designed for four players
  • Instanced delves, similar in difficulty to veteran dungeons (yummy skyshards)
  • Content starts at Veteran Rank 10
  • Comes with new Veteran Rank dungeons
  • Quests designed specifically for four person groups
  • Your normal exploration found quests
  • ETC!

Trials:
  • Designed for twelve players
  • "You have a timer that you are up against"
  • Limited number of ressurections
  • Bosses have unique attacks, so yeah, expect "unique" boss fights
  • Resurrections used count against your time within Trials
  • You are rewarded from the almighty leaderboard
  • "It's the ultimate challenge for your group"

I'm excited, yay. Creepy

Don't care about the timer, never liked timed things.

Anyone else notice that he was a level 12 veteran rank?

Looks pretty good! I like how they're extending group difficulty to an entire zone, as it'll really make the place feel challenging and exciting.

Levelling through the zones has been good, but at times it feels slightly too tamed. So I'm glad to see something like this.

Character Profiles:
Endaros Ilmori - Buoyant Armiger
Sunrio - Aldmeri Justiciar

Taren Jucanis - Imperial Deserter (Used for The Black Shroud RP)

Definitely, I've predominately played MMO's solo before, I only had a small group of people I played with in FFXI and we didn't do a huge amount together. That said, all this interaction-with-others seems, and so far has been great.

I just wish that weird voice in my head wouldn't try and make me feel like I'm being punished for attaining experience by myself, as I'm aware you gain more experience from playing with others. Saying that, It has directed me to actually interacting with others and forming groups to do stuff with, which is cool.

Strangely motivated to create written content for two of my characters to contribute to my guilds story. I guess the "Normal" thing to say would be RP, but I'm still not educated enough on it besides the fact it is player-generated content, which is great. All in due time though.

All that nonsense aside: Adventure Zones look to be a great experience, one which I for one will enjoy many times over.

looks intense!! love it!

one thing i dont like: i feel like its forcing players to find this "main squeeze" type raiding group and it will alienate the rest of your guild/friends.

basically, "i have a good synergy with these three other people and i dont want to run with anyone else" sort of deal.
