SPOILER ALERT

found this on the wiki (i know it's not the most reliable source, but hey... it's still something)

"- Bleakrock, the starting location for the Ebonheart Pact, will begin with the town being attacked by an opposing faction, the Daggerfall Covenant. Players will have a choice as to where to send the NPCs. (i.e. the fort or the docks). NPCs who go the alternate route will be "lost forever", whilst those that follow you will be seen later on in the game. "

Hmm, that's something nice, but I would prefer for every race to start from their homeland...but ok...whatever :)

Yeah i would definitely like it more if each race started in their own region, 9 different stories is a lot better than 3 lol

that tends to turn out as a mess. i cant remember any game other than WoW that actually sticked to that idea on the long run. It seperates the community too much. Think about the races right now. in most factions there is one race that is alot more popular than the others. the Starting zones of the argonians and the redguard would be dead.

not to mention that shared starting areas help foster faction identity, and spite for the others.

Yup, they sure do.

Don't worry about the starting zones. The leveling structure is likely going to be like other games: keeps everyone together at the very beginning and offers options for your own choice of locations later on.

I'm definitely booking it to Morrowind and Black Marsh asap, if that's the case.

Do you believe that the places we're gonna visit will be based on levels? (let's say, only players above 10 level can go to The Pale orelse they cannot kill the creatures there.)

well they said we wont but im curious as to how they want to make that work.
If its not like that youd have problems finding stuff apropriate to your level. or even worse, run itno high level stuff at a very low level.
But im confident that they will pull it off in some way.

for example. i wouldnt try to fight giants if i was on a low level. So the idea of the higher the elevation the higher the level of mobs idea from the Skyrim srpg might fit right in.
Then again, there are some zones that are just flat out more dangerous than others. If you come out of the whiterun hold and delve into shadowfenn youll wonder what threw you into this hellhole.

I hope the provinces aren't lvl based because in this case the places will level higher as you move south, Thus skyrim being only appealing to low levels, and so on... If i want to go to blackmarsh at level 5 i should, I don't want to grind my character just to be able to see the province..... I agree with Sordak about the leveling by elevation

Edit: I hope this makes sense to you guys, i'm still hung-over.... will try to edit if necessary when my head stops hurting

Indeed, what Sordak says could fit with the game...I hope that it is going to be like this, cause I don't like the Line Age 2 style: You are level 50 you must go there, you are level 70 you must go there etc...

Thanks for the spoiler, now I'll sit there staring at the followers, being incapable to decide which ones do I send to their doom.

No, I'll just blame you when during my 13 hours of in-game time, I am still at the starter zone staring at the poor sods who I know will die because of me.

If they are in more than one area. Some will be dead and they would have to fight alone like in WoW. Always picking the favorite races lol
