Can someone, or something,(like a Deadra or a Daedric prince something
like that) poison the Hist trees in TES in Black Marsh? I would think that maybe the Elves could try and do that, damn elves. Then they
could try and take out Black Marsh. Or are we going to be able to
see the at all Hist in TES? Will the Argonians have a special relationship
with the Hist, or maybe a quest or two dealing with them? OR will they
just be their to look at and have no real purpose?

Depends on what Kind of Elves you are referring to. And what time you are referring to. But in any case: Why should they do that?

Neither Argonia nor the An-Xileel (whatwastheirname) are opposing the Dominion or the Thalmor. The only aim of the Argonian is to defend the Hist, everything else is secondary. And it is not the aim of the Dominion to destroy the Hist. Black Marsh is highly irrevelant to the Thalmor, as there is not a single Tower. The only Thing interesting would be a Hist itself, for it Comes from the time before the Lorkahnic treachery, aka the creation of Mundus. Hists are related to Sithis, which also is Padhome. The Altmer therefor don´t like the Hist, but it´s not a hatred like they have towards Lorkhan (Shor, who also Comes from Padhome) and his Shezzarines (e.g. Talos). Maybe. MAYBE. The Thalmor would seek to 'interogate' a Hist, to learn something about the time before men and mer. But that would fail, due to the Hive mind mentality of the Hist and the Argonian People, which is not compatible with the Elven mind. Also, how would you interogate a tree? Torture it? And if, they wouldn´t go to Black Marsh. There is a nice Hist tree right in Leyawiin (which is actually a Khajiit town).

The Bosmer wouldn´t kill a tree at all. Green Pact and stuff.

The Dunmer wouldn´t want the Hist destroyed, for it is the only Thing that creates Argonian. All Argonian are Born as non-sentient lizards, only Hist sap gives them mind and humanoid shape. So, no Hists no slaves. In the era of Argonia having destroyed Morrowind... well then they could Launch a revenge attack on the Hist. But they wouldn´t reach all the Hist trees. For the air in the central Black Marsh is poisonous for any Non-Argonian. So they would die and fail.

If you are referring to TESO times...

Only a small part of the Argonian People follows the Ebonheart Pact. Actually, the main part of the Pact is Morrowind, roughly half of modern Skyrim is not part of the Pact and only the Norhtern tribes joined the Pact. And the freed slaves.

The most Argonian are against all Outsiders, no matter whether men or mer (they hate mer more). They have created the Knahaten flu. So the other factions see the Major part of the Argonians as neutral. Atleast not their enemy.

ALSO

Hists are no Trees at all. They are space faring, hive minded children of Padhome (yeah, it sounds strange) and probably can not be killed. For Padhome is non existant Change. So, similar to Daedra, they can not die (probably). You can kill the tree, but not the Hist. Anyway. They choose to house in so called hist trees, which they use to create the Argonians as their slave race. Cause, for some reasons, the Hist Need protection. And this is what the Argonian do. Of course, some run around all of Tamriel. Some even behave like normal People. But the Hist tree does not Need every single individual to protect him.

Anyway. Maybe we see a Hist in TESO. I only hope they do it better than they did it with the Leyawiin tree. Just concentrating on the mind altering sap, not on the creature itself.

We do, we do

wasn't the hist tree in leyawin destroyed? I know we didn't actually see it destroyed but during that quest you get a message specifically saying the tree was destroyed

It's been a while but didn't you burn the building down or something? I've only completed that faction line once to be honest. A shame since I spent like 1000 hours in that game.

I'm talking about ESO yes.
And I was talking more about having a paralysis poison more then anything; to maybe 'put it to sleep' if you will. But not to kill the tree (if you can do that, can you?) But the part about the Elves doing that, was about the High and/or Wood Elves poisoning the tree. They would do that to make the Argonians weaker because of the Hist sap that makes the Argonians Stronger.
For the Wood Eves, not all of them are in the green pact. Maybe they would have a little group of them that wanted/ are going to poison Kist tree(s).
For the tree in Leyawiin, Leyawiin was founded until the early fourth era. Where Elder Scrolls Online, shall take place in the Second Era.
It's Possible that someone (or something) would come from Oblivion and try to kill the Hist Trees, for maybe the Argonians are to Strong.
