I wonder if we will be able to pick up quests from the barkeeper and use beds?

The question is whether we can virtually drink our asses off and do tavern brawls.

Let's hope so. And also sell our drop items we don't want and buy supplies like food and drink if our health is dependent upon them.

TESO - - Multiplayer: "M'aiq does not know this word. You wish others to help you in your quest? Coward! If you must, search for the Argonian Im-Leet, or perhaps the big Nord, Rolf the Uber. They will certainly wish to join you." M'aiq the Liar.

"Va Khaj Dar - Khajiity's united? M'aiq will join!" M'aiq the Liar

Maybe do a duel and pretend it is a tavern brawl might work out.

I doubt you'll be able to sleep if you're able to use beds you'll probably just lay in it like sitting in a chair, since we won't be able to skip time because the other players. If you're able to sleep it'd probably be an optional log-out thing at the inn like you pay for a room, sleep in the bed, auto-log out and log in after x amount hours you'll get a rested bonus or just wake up. However this would require the inn to have insanely many rooms.

as for drinking, I as well hope they'll add blurry vision or so for when consumming alcohol since it before always was either negative this skill or reduced regenerate or drain skill effect and never an actual motorically hindering effect.

Things I'd love to see at Inns/Taverns:
  • A bard or band: Someone or NPC’s which perform music. Players should be able to approach them, pay them a very nominal tip to actually select one of several songs they know. So let’s say you walk into a tavern after a quest gone very well, and you want to PARTY but the music is currently quiet and calm. Head over to the head bard, select a jovial tune and party on!
  • Spirits and Brews: I would LOVE if, when I play a Norn, I can actually stumble around drunk because I’ve had too many… even if I end up in a fight and have to struggle aim my axe! Getting drunk should mess with your character’s movement, reaction speed (perhaps you slow down a bit) and vision (some blur) BUT, you should feel tougher. Being drunk should also last for more than a few minutes. There’s a consequence to getting so wasted, after all.
  • Meals: I would love to be able to sit down at a table and have an NPC ‘tavern wench’ walk up and ask if I’d like to order a meal. Eating a meal would hopefully give a slight buff of some sort for at least a few hours – such as slightly faster health regeneration for being well fed.
  • Resting: This is something I’d love to see implemented for people about to log out. Take your character to an Inn or your home or whatever ‘safe’ place you can lay down until you log back in. This is not something people would do EVERY time they log out, BUT if the incentive is beneficial enough, I think people would certainly do it. Imagine if you received a stamina regen buff for a good 5-6 hours when logging in and waking up in a ‘Well Rested’ state.
  • Card & Dice Games: Gambling is simply fun. Many people enjoy it. So in a world where this sort of thing would be commonplace, I see no reason not to have at least 2 of these gambling mini-games. Heck, even Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean Online allows you to play poker with your doubloons!

A irl minute is usually an hour in TES games a second a minute etc.

If we can do tavern brawls. Have the ability of breaking stuff inside the bar, even if one have to "pay" the owner of the bar for the broken items.

I would love to see tavern brawls (duel system), gambling (etc dice/card games) and being able to pick up random quests from the barkeep.
