Now that the first part of the RP is finished, we need ideas and new characters for the second part - Into the Deep - Chapter 2 - Into The Shivering Isles!

Appearance:
Arinlas is a short Bosmer. He has long blonde hair and golden-brown skin. He has a petite nose and grey-silver, hazel shaped eyes. Arinlas is short and thin and light, much like most Bosmer. He also has a toned body. He wears a light, leather armour that is green all over. His hood hides his eyes and the top of his nose. He carries a bow always on his back as well as arrows. His glistening daggers are kept with him at all times. He is serious looking and very proud in his posture.

Personality:
Arinlas is an calm Elf. He is serious but very caring and loving. His friends and family are the most important thing to him. Even if he doesn't show it. Arinlas is strong both mentally and in his words. He also very truthful and spititual. When Arinlas gets angry he turns into a machine, killing anyone who is enemy or who will fight back. Arinlas' anger is rarely seen. It's barely ever seen on the battlefield.


Social Background/Backstory:
When Arinlas was just four years old, the Wild-Heart home was raided by a Colovian Imperial lord. The lord found the house in the north west of the Valenwood forests, not far to the north west of Arenthia. They had planned to attack the house at midnight when Arinlas and his family were asleep. They attacked Arinlas' home in the middle of the winter. That night Arinlas' family were killed. Dead on the floor in pools of blood; his mother and father who died protecting Arinlas and his siblings, and his thirteen year old sister. But his brother, at the age of just three had escaped. A small group went after his brother but the rest stayed to take what was left in the house. They later caught Linthir, Arinlas' brother and the lord took them both with him. The lord saw the brothers as an opportunity to raise two children from scratch so that they would be the ultimate slaves. Not only were Bosmer slaves 'exotic' looking but they were also precious.
The lord and his brutes took the two brothers to the city of Kvatch which was just north of the border of Valenwood and Cyrodiil. There the lord kept Arinlas, while Linthir was traded to another lord. Arinlas was raised as a slave from the moment he got into the lord's home. He became one of the best slaves known to the lord.
From childhood, Arinlas had been training him self as an archer, assassin. To obtain these skills he would quickly finish his house work and sneak off. He became an extremely skilled archer, assassin from these short but consistent training sessions.
Arinlas at the age of sixteen found an old journal underneath the lord's bed while cleaning his room. A journal that the lord would soon regret keeping. Little did the lord know that his end was near. The journal described the murder of his family and the kidnapping of him and his brother during the raid of his home. Arinlas became quickly enraged by the content of the journal, and so he ran to get his bow, arrows and daggers.
In almost one movement, Arinlas swifly plunged a dagger into the lord's stomach. He then killed the guards protecting the lord with his bow. Only the defenseless were left alive. Arinlas left Kvatch with rage in his blood and anger on his face to set out and find his brother.
After two years of extensive searching. He found him in Sutch, north east of Kvatch with another lord, serving as a slave.
In the dead of night, Arinlas invaded the lord's home and helped Linthir escape. He killed no one and left no trace. He was in and out in minutes.
From this day onward Arinlas swore to eradicate the races of Man on Tamriel.
After some time with his brother, Arinlas started hearing voices. Voices of a godlike nature. Auri-El echoed through his head. The voice said "Arinlas Wild-Heart. You are the speaker; the speaker for Auri-El. You are the chosen Star Made Knight. Teach the people of Tamriel my ways. Create a nation of Star Made Knights and in return for your teaching of Auri-El's ways, I will allow these knights to do as you wish. They will be the strongest of all warriors. Blessed by Auri-El him self." So, with Auri-El's blessings, Arinlas created Pelin-El. Arinlas' destiny was now clear; destroy the races of man, with Auri-El and Pelin-El at his side.

Linthir Wild-Heart, was among the first to join Pelin-El in it's creation and he serves as one of the guild's seven Guild Masters.


Best Memory:
Killing the Lord who took him.

Worst Memory:
Finding the journal that described the death of his family.

Skills:
Skilled archer, hunter, assassin and rouge.

Challenges for the Character:
Arinlas has absoloutley no skill in magic.

Arinlas was born under the sign of the leaf. The leaf means he is true to nature and true to his ways. He is brave and strong as well as knowledgeable and skilled.

Religious Views:
Elf extremist due to his past.

Politics Views:
Arinlas fully supports his Queen, Ayrenn and fully supports the Dominion. Although Arinlas fights for the same thing as the Queen, he also wants to destroy the existance of Man on Tamriel.

Other:
Arinlas is secretly a Werewolf.

Appearance-Brown and hazel coloured fur with tiger stripe patterns covering his features, ears pierced with gold studs and hair done in short braids. He often wears his suit of dull grey coloured ebony armour. Lean and muscular with an athletic body.
Height-6’10

Personality–Doesn't like the company of others for concern he may lose his patience and attack someone but this fear has lessened over time. Cautious and somewhat wary as a result only his very close friend’s family and, caravan mates know his true personality. His true personality however is dominated by loyalty and will fight to the death for those he cares about and holds dear.

Social Background/Backstory-Born to a caravan in Elsweyr he was raised in the trade but as he grew somewhat older and wiser he tired of all the haggling and negotiating prices and wares so he became an adventurer. On a trip to Dune in his early life the caravan he was born in was attacked by a band of renrij that were successful in sacking the caravan, M’kar in a panic ran from the bandits with his alfiq brother Jo’Rakha until they were found by another caravan that took the young Khajiit and raised him. He travelled and trained with the caravaneer’s for twenty years until he had mastered all the traders could teach him so he began to delve in the magical arts taking the prefix ‘’M’’ upon his name to signify his apprenticeship in the arcane ways. Eventually the caravans settled in the city of Torval on the border with the elves of Valenwood and built a store selling their wares to passers-by until an agreement that was made went badly and M’kar was forced to kill the entirety of a Bosmer raiding-party this weighed heavily on the khajiit’s mind, so he set off to try to purge himself of the weight upon his conscious. And has since become an adventurer and an apprentice to the mages guild still keeping the ‘’M’’ upon his name.

Best Memory-His time with the caravan that saved him

Worst Memory-Having to kill the Bosmer raiding party and his original caravan being attacked

Personality - Friendly, and can be quiet in large groups--observative, but adventurous. Likes to be behind the scenes, doesn't enjoy a lot of attention. Dislikes conflict but will fight hard and strong for a good cause.

Social Background/Backstory - Came from a larger, more civilized clan in Valenwood. Lived in Silvenar

Reason for Joining AD - Joined with brother, believed that something had to be done or the safety of Valenwood--of their families--was at stake

Skills - Skilled with a bow from years of hunting, also gives him an edge in stealth. As a soldier, though, he also learned how to use a short sword and dagger. Limited knowledge in magic.

Religious Views - Strict Follower of Y'ffre mainly, the only god he really worships or cares about. But he has always felt some connection with Jone and Jode. Has found interest in a legend of the White Flame, but has not been able to find anything about it. :o

Politics Views - Believes and Elf needs to be on the Ruby Throne. Thinks Humans have proved that they are incapable of ruling.

Origin: A small border city between Valenwood and Eleswyr, Torvol, at 15, he elected to go to Elden Root and live with cousin.

Birth-sign: The Shadow

Occupation: Spy, Scout

Relatives: His parents are both warriors in the Aldmeri Dominion army and have been since he was 15, he’s 25 now. His mother (Geldii) specializes in interrogation and his father (Elbero) specializes in planning out attacks. He now “lives” with his cousin, Thaer, in his house, but is there so little that is more of a vacation spot.

Brief description of appearance: Foriel is by all means a normal looking Bosmer, if a little short. But, if you look closely you might see two quivers underneath his cloak, along with a satchel full of all types of potions. And the hard, intelligent look in his eyes.

Weaponry: For daytime missions, he uses a glass bow, two swords and a dagger and for nighttime missions, he uses an ebony bow, two swords and a dagger.

Armour/Clothing: Whatever he needs to blend in, when scouting at night ebony armour, in the day regular glass armour. When spying, he takes on any appearance he needs… poor farmer, rich bachelor, etc.

Religious Point of View: Foriel is a devout worshipper of the Nine Divines. He however does not believe that prayers get through but rather actions. Thus, he always helps beggars, gives food to the poor, etc.


Political Point of View: Foriel is a proud supporter of the Aldmeri Dominion and believes that it is only a matter of time until Queen Ayrenn has the throne. He is also very happy and proud that his parents are warriors in the Aldmeri Dominion who are highly respected.

Loves: Antique Bows, fast horses, his friendships, and the twang of a bowstring

Hates: Liars, traitors, snow, the Ebonheart Pack, assassins

Strengths: Ri’Do’Ja is smart, loyal, and brave. He is an excellent archer and a highly competent swordsman. He also has a gift for staying unseen.

Weaknesses: Foriel is a little arrogant, loses focus easily sometimes and has a little bit of a temper. He is way to loyal to his friends and to save them would let entire cities of innocents be destroyed to save them.

Companions: 5 years ago while journeying across Eleswyr Foriel saved the life of a Senche-Raht who vowed to be his loyal steed ever since. He also owns a black horse named Midnight.

Notable relationships: Foriel‘s parents are warriors in the Aldmeri Dominion army. He has not seen them in 5 years although receives and writes numerous letters. He does not have any siblings.
He is close with his cousin Thaer who he views as a father figure.
His two best friends J’Dato and Jo’Rak mean the world to him and constantly join him on his scouting trips and spy missions. He also spends as much time as possible with his fellow scout, member of the Aldmeri Dominion and girlfriend, Cirwen.

Rumours (true and untrue):

1. Foriel is the Bosmer vigilante, The Black Arrow.
2. He hates Daedra and tries to destroy all who consort with them.
3. Whenever he takes a life he meditates to figure out if his reasons were just.
4. All of the letters he has ever gotten from his parents, he puts in a locked chest with only 1 key.
5. His favorite colors are black, blue, and white.
6. He carries a journal around wherever he goes.
7. Some believe that the reason he is so good with archery is that he is half Daedra.
8. He only drinks clear water, and meat that he, J’Dato, Jo’Rak, his parents, Thaer, or Cirwen have hunted, as he is terrified of getting poisoned.
9. The reason he hates assassins is a member of the Dark Brotherhood tried to kill him when he was traveling to Elden Root. Oddly enough, he is constantly trying to contact and join the Dark Brotherhood.
10. At the age of 15 he could shoot an arrow 200 meters into an apple and knock an arrow out of air.

A few days before this RP will fin itself in the Shivering Isles, Ulwe was sent with a small band of Soldiers to deal with Daedra worshipers (could you guess..? The Madgod of course haha). The conflict was almost over in a matter of minutes, Ulwe's team doing magnificently when the worshipers refused a peaceful discontinuation. As the short battle neared the end, the few remaining worshipers managed to open a portal into the Shivering Isles, pulling Ulwe and one other Dominion soldier who was also too close in as well. The two of them managed to deal with the remaining worshipers, this time on a less desirable battlefield, but in the process Ulwe's partner was dealt a lethal blow and didn't make it past the night. Over the next few days Ulwe has been searching for a way out, learning what he could of the new strange land, though refusing to even enter the cities. He had known that his p[lane was filled with madness and dared not speak with its citizens for fear of his own sanity. Finally he discovered another short lived portal open bringing a small group into this realm. He studies them for a while until he realizes they are not Daedra worshipers, but are after something else, and belong to the Dominion as well (though not all of them, as he discovers).

Tell me what you think, as always I am willing to change things if necessary. Thanks Took for the idea.

Oh and he doesn't have to be alone, if anyone else wanting to join needs a way in as well we can work on it together.

No. If, then only in the Fringe, for none of the characters is insane.

Also we only know the Mad God´s realm from the Shivering Isles Expansion in the third era. We don´t know whether between the second era there and then there had been one, two, many Grey Marshes, entirely destroying and recreating the land. Also Sheogorath´s mood shapes the land. We don´t know whether there are Mania or Dementia in TESO times. Maybe there are Phobia and Phrenia.

Anyway. An isolated Fringe like land would be fine. Anything that is not connected or describing anything we don´t/ can´t know. A small island would be nice.

Ideas: A Grummit high hulture, an exact replica of one of the mental homes of Pelagius. And Sheogorath shouldn´t show up at all ;)

Good point Idriar I didn't even think about the grey marsh. I guess that gives us more of a creative license to do more of what we want it the geography

Notable relationships: Foriel‘s parents are warriors in the Aldmeri Dominion army. He has not seen them in 5 years although receives and writes numerous letters. He does not have any siblings.
He is close with his cousin Thaer who he views as a father figure.
His two best friends J’Dato and Jo’Rak mean the world to him and constantly join him on his scouting trips and spy missions. He also spends as much time as possible with his fellow scout, member of the Aldmeri Dominion and girlfriend, Cirwen.

Rumours (true and untrue):

1. Foriel is the Bosmer vigilante, The Black Arrow.
2. He hates Daedra and tries to destroy all who consort with them.
3. Whenever he takes a life he meditates to figure out if his reasons were just.
4. All of the letters he has ever gotten from his parents, he puts in a locked chest with only 1 key.
5. His favorite colors are black, blue, and white.
6. He carries a journal around wherever he goes.
7. Some believe that the reason he is so good with archery is that he is half Daedra.
8. He only drinks clear water, and meat that he, J’Dato, Jo’Rak, his parents, Thaer, or Cirwen have hunted, as he is terrified of getting poisoned.
9. The reason he hates assassins is a member of the Dark Brotherhood tried to kill him when he was traveling to Elden Root. Oddly enough, he is constantly trying to contact and join the Dark Brotherhood.
10. At the age of 15 he could shoot an arrow 200 meters into an apple and knock an arrow out of air.







Foriel found himself in the Shivering Isles when he was chasing after a Nord, who worshipped the Madgod, that opened a portal into the Shivering Isles. Thinking it was just a regular portal he followed the Nord in, killed him the realized, "I'm not in Tamriel anymore."

Hey i think it would make most sense if there were as few portals into the Shivering Isles as we can make. So if we can work together to make our stories go together that would be great. Unless you were intending Foriel to be there for a while longer than a few days max, as Ulwe was.
