Just what it says on the tin. I found this linked on facebook and decided to share it with you lot.

Sounds like a promising game all-in-all, some of my TES-fanboy fears have been put aside somewhat, and I'm eager for further news!

well however no real targeting is bad, BAD. I hope they sort this out, if i cant swing my sowrd in the air im disapointed, also no dodging is a letdown. But at least you can aim like in TES:... grmbl

that classes sound shit tho, none of these have been in a previous tes game. WHERE IS MY BARBARIAN!?

This is sounding alot like Rift...Dark Anchors do anyway. Not cool at all. Also, some fo these "Ultimate Abilities" sound like special moves from Mortal Kombat. Again, not cool at all. Not really liking the direction where this is going. Graphics and familiar names and places does not make a game TES.

I find it nice that using your brain in combat gets rewarded (block, devestate, finesse and all that). But as all reports say really, it still needs a lot of work. It's still nice to hear they stick to "play the game, not the UI", I'd really hate another game with 500 abilities mushing up your hotbars.

What is easy in PvE becomes more difficult to implement for PvP. How combat is done is going to be an important part of PvP. Fighter game hokeyness is not going to endear many people to an RPG. Either are Rift-like anomalies forming all over the place to encourage large groups to take them down. Such things begin to feel cumbersome and repetitive. TES got its adventuring dangers from animal predators, bandits, mages and other creatures. Now add in PvP, what else is necessary? Pharm mats and have to kill nearby creatures. Go in a cave for a quest and have to kill nearby creatures. Group up to take down quest and loot bosses. Do these things within the TES framework. Pirating from other games that, consequently, have gone F2P rather quickly is a death sentance.

choo choo here comes the "wrong" train.

You think it is? Becase i think TES has quite a few of these things, Oblivion gates spring to mind, radiant quests in Skyrim, Dungeons in Skyrim and caves in Morrowind, you cant just neglect a feature and act like its never been there before.
Im not a fan of the Dark Anchors either, but thats mainly because they seem like a less imaginitive version of GW2s dynamic events, wich are awsome btw, and everyone enjoys it in that game.

Your other point is basically that skill based combat might hurt PvP. Ok you boggle my mind right there, how would that be a thing? If PvP is more skill based it gets more fun. At least it is for me. And judging by how many people enjoy games with a high skill curve i can saveley assume that i am not the only one.
There is also a growing trend in that direction as seen in games like Guild Wars 2 or the less recent DCUO.
Speaking of RPGs btw, TES was one of the first ever "Action RPGs" dont believe me? look at some reviews from back then.
For an RPG TES always had a rather engaging and "in your face" style of combat. Why exactly that bothers you is something i cant get my head around.

and then youre making more blind assumptions to reinforce your point of "GHUYS! ITS LIKE... .TOTALY LIKE WOW RITE!?" we got it by now. But youre just not beeing right there as any preview so far suggests otherwise.
