Would you like to see mini games in TESO? Some card game, collection related game, puzzle game, or something more lore appropriate. From my past experience in MMO games there where a lot of moments when i am waiting for PvP or raid group to gather or even a friend who will come online in 10-15m, i get bored with nothing to do and wish to play or challenge other players in some mini games, in WoW they had those "toy" tanks and rockets which you could battle other players.

Do you want you want to see Mini game feuture in TESO? If yes any suggestion?

Some bet-type mini-games would be nice! Let's say, die games, target games, chicken races (wasn't that on Fable?) and other would be really really fun to play with your friends :D

Perhaps indeed, like oblivions arena bets this could perhaps be used for more peasant-wise immersion
Betting on cock fights or dog fights etc

Also Blackjack/Dices/fight-clubs or something like that may give you an alternative reason to visit the pub when you're done looking the drunkest guy with the best likelihood of having some trouble which an artist of the sword may be of help of

Yeah, tavern/corner club games would be cool. Some sort of card or dice game would be appropriate.

I don´t know if that belongs here, but lock picking in most of the elder scrolls games was a mini game, too. But I´m not sure wether there will be lock picking handy in a MMO, as the game can´t pause when you bow over a lock. You could easily get killed.

Though I like the idea of other kinds of mini games ;)

I think a lockpicking mini-game could work in TESO. Of course you will have to watch your back to make sure you don't get ambushed, but it throws in time as a factor towards having success.

In the single player games, once you start picking a lock you're free to try as many times as you want without getting caught. But in a real time sort of environment you have to go, "Alright, I'm going to have to get this open and as quickly as possible before that patrol comes by." It throws in a bit of excitement, and the better lockpickers can get doors/chests open before they're caught by players or NPCs.

I'm not sure how TESO will handle it as players seem fairly split between people who want interaction and people who want to just get it done.

In terms of other mini-games, I'd like to see optional puzzles in dungeons. Hopefully ones that require a bit of thinking and gives a small reward. Sort of like what you find in Skyrim, but perhaps with a bit wider range in difficulty.

More peaceful mini games would be cool too as mentioned by others. The only downside may be if it takes resources from other aspects of the game, though I wouldn't imagine it to be substantial if just a simple mini game or two.

I enjoy playing slot machines in FallOut New Vegas - I'd love some of those; perhaps of a Dwemer origin in Morrowind, or something that fits TES lore.

TESO - - Multiplayer: "M'aiq does not know this word. You wish others to help you in your quest? Coward! If you must, search for the Argonian Im-Leet, or perhaps the big Nord, Rolf the Uber. They will certainly wish to join you." M'aiq the Liar.

It would be very cool if they could add in the ability for players to play music on musical instruments like they have in Lord of the Rings Online. Here is a video on YouTube where a band of players have gathered at the famous Prancing Pony Inn and are playing a song together.
All they are doing is playing the same .abc song/file and there is an in game command for them to sync up

LOTRO Music with .abc files

Also the devs already mentioned one mini game that is connected to the Mages Guild questline. This is a book or lore collection that I think rewards the player as they advance through the collection in their travels.

mini-Dovahkiin is highly overrated bro. Everyone think he is so awesome because he can shout, but mini-Ulfric and mini-Angier can do that too

Just to be annoying, lockpicking was a mini-game in 2/5 in the games it's not most

I'd doubt it since many would feel it too lore inapropiate it'd be more like to have those lottery-wheel-thingies where if the winning number/ a golden ball pops out you win

Yeah...fair points.

I'll take a mini-Vivec (pre Nerevarine) then.

Elember, that is so cool! So many games have musical instruments but don't use them. How have I missed so much in LOTRO? Gotta get outa the Shire more.

Let us never forget mini-Todd Howard in Morrowind.

You are right about that, I played with a mod in Morrowind that had a Dwemer slots machine and a bunch of other gaming mods like a Pinata, etc. It was all in a discotechque of an Inn, but it was very lore breaking at the same time. Fun though.
