We all know that one of the greatest things about The Elder Scrolls games is that you can mod. Be it just change a weapon's stats or create a whole new island city ... you can create the visions for Tamriel that you see in your head as you traverse her landscape and have adventures.

Modding is the very thing that has kept Morrowind viable with an active still-gaming community - how many years after the game's come out? I've lost track now. And I believe Bethesda, with it's simplistic modding in Daggerfall, may have been the pioneer studio on the modding front - if not, one of the first with the best construction sets around.

So do you mod for any TES games? If so, would you share some screenshots with us. I did a little in Morrowind, mostly into retexturing and constructing houses. I worked on a group project at TESFU called Neacrythe Village.

Here are some screens:

The world of modding is one of wonder to me - I literally have zero experience with it and would not know how to do it, but then again, I've never even tried xD Mods never cease to amaze me, it's great how they can enrich a game.

I tried to mod in oblivion and skyrim...god completely lost and confused/overwhelmed immediately. More so with the skyrim one.

With Oblivion all I managed to do was add in a sword with retardedly high stats.

i did some in morrowind, and... well im considering doing a massive modd attack on skyrim. after i finished the next DLC. all those armortypes! all these ... things.

tho sadly most armortypes are very.. medieval. id much rather have some Frazetta esque stuff.

But still the stuff ported over from the witcher is pretty sweet, dispite me not even playing that game.

somwhere, someone did a frankenstein type armor model with a mixture of a witcher heavy knight armor with a huge bear pelt on it, was supposed to be for ulfric. that one looked pretty sweet (a bit over the top tho)

its here http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/t...credo-wip/

im still bewildered by the fact that there are not all that many mods for new quests and dungeons, content is the most interresting thing usually.

a big thing im stoked for btw is andoran, wich is a full conversion wich started as an oblivion mod but is now in Skyrim http://www.andoran.com/en/

Wow, Sordak - that is absolutely awesome bear armor/cape for Ulrich! And I like the Riften stuff too, very bold.

This makes me want to mod/model in Skyrim. The reasons I never modded in Oblivion were #1. the voice scripting for characters #2. the fact that you had to seperately down load the OB data files and I had a smaller hard drive than now #3. I don't know how but would like to learn to use Blender, the modeling program.

I may look into this again, now that I have hard drive room. At least I can store downloaded mods from these other excellent modders.

Credo is a pretty ambitious project. Thanks for the link, Sordak.

I'm a big lover of medieval history and spend waay too much time reading about it. These themed armors look great. It would be a very nice change.
