Have skill based classes, sword increases because you use it etc. this is I figure a decent compromise might be wrong.

full loot server but in the vein of eve online, if you kill someone in pvp theres a chance some of there armor is destroyed and weapons so yo dont get everything. this allows for economies to actually work

Make gear not that important.

Make every region viable in some ways to high levels, so that for instance in Wow the barrens are dead because everyone is max level just hanging out by auction house.

Dont give in to instant travel its dumb try to actually create a living online world.

4 Factions one sub faction, the 4th faction being neutral, and the sub basiclay a criminal flag that allows everyone to kill you with no penalty and limited city use.

NO INSTANCING for world travel, I should be able to walk from one place to another with out loading. I Should be able to walk from black marsh and swim to summerset isles. I would be far better to due Hammerfell, Black Marsh and Morrowind in perfect detail then to give little tasts of both done by instance travelling.

Make a world not a lobby game.

I understand sword skill increasing as you use it, lotro had "traits", using a skill enough let you equip a better version of that move or a perk.

Im 110% for pvp loot

High levels everywhere is not too good if youre in a pvp server...

I think evryone should have ONE quick travel move or map thingy with a one hour cd or something...

I think the empire is the 4th faction....but the thieves guild should help with bounty :p

No loading would be too difficult for such a huge world....there has to be some server lines...o.o

the first sentance is not an actual sentance. at least not the second part so i dont even get what youre talking about.
Yess using a sword will push your swords skill. DUH.
Full loot... NO and ive explained why millions of times. It discourages PvP, encourages griefing and is nothing but frustration. This is NOT a Sandbox. It does not work in this game.
Yeah right. Make gear not important. And what else? Skill? Well ive argued over that for quite a while. But at the end of the day. this can only work in PvP. the fact that the game is still based on a hotkey system limits how much "skill" there can actually be. Not to mention that the "gear" (not the automization of combat, i hate that) is something you cannot remove from an MMORPG without changing its genre.
And ZOS wont do that. Because they are scared. Not to mention TES always had an Item progression system built in. Taking that out would be nonsensical.
GW2 Sorted that out. But TESO wont. Since it, as far as we know for now, has a Quest system. After completing an area there probably wont be much going on. Sad but true.
Oh yess an MMORPG without fast travel. Another EQ1 enthusiast? hey remember your first corpse run through a forest with high leveled enemies just because you wanted to get to a town? You probably dont. Nostalgia goggles. Just leave them off.
4 Factions. NO because its not a sandbox. Everyone wants one. But sorry i have to ruin it for you but this game is not one. This system makes no sense and breaks the established DAOC like PvP part wich might aswell be the most awsome part about the game.
No instances is not doable. Think about how many people are in the world. this just doesnt work.

I disagree this game is far enough out they can make it a sandbox its what the elderscroll games are about.

They could if they want get rid of instanceing and create massive seemless zones if they wanted. With Expansions adding in new lands.

Elderscrolls has always been about massive worlds that are seemless if there going to give this anytype of serious thought they will do this.

Otherwise there just using the name to make some quick cash.

I hope its not a cash grab, TES games have rep for being awesome. Morrowind is still played like a decade later. TESO couldve been made ages ago imo.

-One can use whatever weapon they want regardless of class, and they will gain expertise as they use it.
-Full-loot PvP will not be making an appearance in ESO. It is a niche system.
-Gear will certainly still be important, but the availability of it will likely be easier to obtain.
-It would be nice if ZOS could figure out a way to recycle lower level areas so that they are still viable to max level players.
-Wayshrines (instant travel) have already been confirmed. But one must go to the city first before one can quick travel.
-There will only be three factions and they are being built with RvR in mind.
-While I agree that I would prefer to have a seamless world rather than one divided into zones and load screens, we'll just have to wait and see how ESO turns out. Players are restricted to their own faction's provinces so you wouldn't be able to traverse all of Tamriel on one character.
