Faction & Race:
Ebonheart Pact

Seeing people, in Role-play, swearing and then being criticised for not being lore based lead me to think about insults and swearing in Tamriel. I was thinking we could compile a list of blasphemies, insults and swears for when you stub your toe on a mudcrab.

If you could list who uses it, what it is, and what it means.

e.g. Milk-drinker, Nords, Insult, a word to imply someone cannot handle their alcoholic beverage and so less than averagely masculine. (bit over the top but you get the picture).

Staff-packer. Nords, insult, a term to define those who don't have the genital-backing to handle themselves in battle, so they turn to tricks and spells to survive. Thoughts?

N'wah - A derogative term for a foreigner in Morrowind.

This makes me think of Morrowind and the guards saying: "We're watching you...scum."

Flay-hands, dunmer, a person who is not scared to throw a few fists in a scuffle.

Milk-drinker: Nordic derrogatory term for an Imperial. First one that came to mind besides N'wah.

Nords call Imperials milk-drinkers because they are weaklings. Its a sort of subcategory of insult.

"Fat-fingers" is used in Skyrim when you fail to pickpocket someone, so I guess that's a slur for thieves. Just thought I'd mention it.

It could be a slur for bad thieves not just thieves in general, because that makes more sense in context.

If by subcategory, you're talking about it being non-vulgar and specific to one race from another race.

Still a lore appropriate insult, I think. Definitely not the worst thing to call someone though. :-)
