Cyrodiil is for mass PvP. I still hope we can duel outside Cyrodiil with our mates.

the most fun im having in PvP is mid range skirmishes with your guild. good coordination and strategic fight over objectives. Ambushes and grinding your enemy to the dust. Large Zergs can be fun too. But usually you end up not benefitting enaugh for the team.

Totally agree.

Those mid-level engagements when one group gets dispatched to hold some key point before meeting up with the main force for a siege. When you arrive at the point, there are some enemies with the same idea showing up at the same time.

Quick to start, fast paced, and over in a flash if you don't start the battle well.

I can see all of the poll options being the case -- except through the "pvp will be boring" option. That won't be the case. =P

Ambush/stealth kills. The safest way to kill you enemy is to not let them see you.

I hope there is grinding and questing in Cyrodiil. Back in Aika it was my bread and butter stalking enemy grinders, waiting for that right time, and over pull or a distracted healer.... boom, boom, boom, I could walk away with 6 kills and a ton of honor pts. Not to mention the rage from the grinders. The best part of PvP!

it might be the "savest" way but also 1. not fun and 2. not possible in an MMO unless youre ganking.

and it is sad that your favorite thing to do is cowardly ganking. You wont get better through that.

I could forsee a small harassment group hiding in a wooded area, picking off reinforcements as part of a zone-wide strategy. (something that all factions are likely to embrace) But it surely won't occupy the primary practice of any faction.

Actually you do get better as you learn patience, you get an idea of their gear, and even some tactics. Watching the enemy is a good way to learn of the enemy. It also translates to mass PVP as you take the skills to observe them stealthy, learn how to take on a group, weak points.

Beside honor only gets in the way of the job. Why would I want waste time doing 1v1 when I needed 10k pts for the next honor set? Waste all that time for the sake "honor" lol no thank you.

Yah - No honor or rules on the battlefield... In combat would be worse or unexpected happen...

One way you can survive: Careful, check it is no many enemies, look allied players, more allies, more better...Be watch out, always guard. Teamwork is no 1.

None is safe place in pvp zones...

And it is kind hard to follow officers too, all players don't like to follow orders... Who knows?

You're an Argonian, I support you backstabbing some Orcs and Altmer while the Nords and my own kind charge into battle.

Keep up the good work!

i will be one too, and i will be a firece warrior. in fact i doubt most argonians are back stabbers. their stats always supported a non lethal thief or a light armoured spear warrior. not an assasin. dispite shadowscales existing, there ar enot many of them.

on regards for honor. yess there is none on the field of battle, but those who stand in my way will be grindet to dust, everyone will fall. Your cowardice will only save you a few seconds before your head will be chopped off.

you cannot instant kill with backstabbs in most MMORPGs. So backstabbing doesnt work, you can just ambush one with superior numbers, or you will be forced into direct confrontation, where you will fall.

LOL Sordak your so funny. Depends on the game, depends on the class. Your not an authority on MMOS. Please for the love of God stop acting like one. In Aika, my class pretty much had a one shoot, one kill skill that could only be used from stealth. So it was a "back stab" skill.

As far as superior # go. Like i said you hunt them, stalk them a little and wait for them to get busy, wait for the over pull that ALWAYS happens. and take out the key players. Then as they scramble melt back into the shadows and pick them off...

Sodak, feel free to be a front line bruiser. In Rappelz, i was an Evoker the definition of a front line DPS. I've enjoyed both ends of the coin. I, personally, have grown to love the stealth ambush aspect of assassin class. Having the patience to hunt and stalk a group, waiting for that right time. the PvP options are much larger with "hunters" then it is for meat shields.

Small harassment groups are always helpful in this kind of PvP, as has been my experience. You don't need to have a stealth ability to be effective. All it takes is a little focus fire, and a small group can effectively ambush another group. The element of surprise is always important regardless of whether or not you're playing a stealth class or not.

I have personally played melee and support melee roles in massive PvP games, and even though I'm not partial to assassin types, I've nevertheless participated in ambushes and helped my faction buy time/win resources/take a keep. Every combat skill that someone brings to the table will be useful in zone control areas.
