Faction & Race:
Daggerfall Covenant (Breton)
Hi, I am a band director in michigan, and yes I do play these wonderful games, in fact I have played all of them. But I was wondering, does anyone know if it it possible to purchase original scores for the soundtrack. not the actual piece/recording. but the written score?

I honestly do not know. But I think your best bet would be to contact them direct and ask them.

Here is a link that should help: http://www.zenimaxonline.com/contact.php

and one for Bethesda: http://bethsoft.com/en-us/contact

I'd love to find some of the music online myself. I am sure the music can be found on youtube for any and all of the already released games. And there are enough programs and sites out there that would allow you to download the music from youtube. Its how I get obscure songs that there is no way they are on Itunes, heh.

As for actual sheet music? No idea there. Sorry.

i actually do not know if there is anyway to obtain the music. i guess you can extract them out of the game files in some sort?
I dont think TES was ever released with an official soundtrack.

While I don't know about band stuff, I do have some piano sheets of a cover of the Skyrim theme that Mark Fowler did. It's a fairly enjoyable and faithful arrangement, I feel. There's a link to them in the video, here.

Given that live orchestral versions of at least Reign of the Septims, Nerevar Rising, and a few pieces like the recent London Philharmonic performance of Far Horizons exist, I'm sure sheet music is out there, though it appears most of these orchestras did their own arrangements. Your best shot may be to contact directly someone else who's performed parts of the score- maybe look around on Youtube to find them- and ask how they managed to piece together a performance.

Best of luck, though! I know if my band director in high school had told us we were performing the Elder Scrolls, I'd be pretty excited. :)

What?

Skyrim have 4cd collection of official OST plus ambiental sounds used in game.

The ones that smell your underwear are your best friends.

Anyway Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim all had soundtracks that came with the game and were purchasable on their own.

the OP was talking about sheet music, not a sound track on CD. Tongue_out_laughing

Morrowind = http://musescore.com/user/25600/scores/45345

Oblivion = http://www.onlinepianist.com/songs/piano...-Soule.php (all I could find)

Skyrim = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5s6vi_itufU

I am at work so some sites don't open through the filters.

"They" say that all of the previous games' musics and themes are going to be incorporated into the musical experience of TESO to be reminicent for fans, even Arena and Daggerfall I believe. Ahhh, to hear those little Arena dungeon goblins going muh-lick muh-lick again! That'd be cool, I hated those suckers.

*I think if you google for a Jeremy Soule website, you may find what you're looking for ... Mr. Soule wrote and performed all the musical themes for TES games since including Morrowind. I can't remember the composer for Arena & Daggerfall.
