Thought I'd start up a topic on the most recent Elder Scrolls release.

I have a feeling that anyone that is into the Elder Scrolls series has probably played this, but have you?

I initially bought the game for the PS3 (I know), and I played the crap out of it. I think I have around 350 hours clocked on the PS3 version. After playing the game for weeks straight, pretty much every day, I decided to buy the game for the PC for some modding action. Another 200+ hours later and I'm still loving the game.

I haven't been playing it so much lately though - I'd really like to get back into it.

Im playing it right now on PC.
Fortunately, Mods makes it high replayable.
Im now finishing this gameplay, waiting for Dawnguard to come.

I actually just got the game a few weeks ago when Steam had it on sale for $29.99.

I have had the game since it came out (on PC) I think I managed to get over a hundred hours and did the main story as well as a fair number of side quests but SWTOR came out and I put Skyrim aside to play that.

Now I have more time to play single player games again I have picked it back up and started another play through with a lot of realism and hardcore play mods.
I've just finished the College of Winterhold quest series which has maybe the best boss fight I have had in the game yet.
Currently playing Dawnguard as I figured it's a good chance to level and get some money as it doesn't have any leveled unique items in it.

I just deleted about 20 gigs worth of mods off of my computer. I'm about to start a completely fresh install of the game and only put in a few mods this time. I can't tell you how many mods I had installed that I really didn't even need.

Going for mostly graphical enhancing and weapon/armor sets this time around.

That's essentially what I did. On my first play-through I had so many mods it was ridiculous. It got to the point where I virtually broke the game, so I started over and only have a few mods that overhaul the graphics and enhance combat/AI performance.

I recently just started playing Skyrim again and am I loving it. The character that I'm currently playing is an Altmer Spellsword. His main skills are: Illusion, Alteration, Restoration, Enchanting, One-Handed, and Light Armor. I'm deciding whether or not to add Block to the build.

I have the tree/flora and texture overhauls. I also have a lighting mod that gives more depth to darkened areas, making caves scary with only a torch to light your way.

I have put quite a few hours into Skyrim since I got it on 11/11/11. Though with the multitude of characters Ideas I like to play around with sadly the highest I"ve gotten is on my main character, my dunmer mage Mohkia. I just recently got Dawnguard and am playing around with that. Mohkia made a nice transition into vampirism as she was already being sent on a mission to clear out a vamp cave. Just happened the Master vampire inside got to her before she could finish him off. Muahhahaha. Things will never be the same for her. :D So much fun.

Anyways as for mods, I use mostly some graphic enhancement mods as well as some minor game play mods. To improve followers, wildlife mods, stuff that just enhances the base game without really changing it to much.

I will be putting many more hours into this game as well as finishing my first playthrough of morrowind, and replaying after some time, the game that got me addicted to Elder Scrolls in the first place, Oblivion. And then, if the stars align and TESO actually turns out to be a good, I will say goodbye to what little life I have. Hehe.

After putting in hundreds of hours into this game, I end up coming back every 3-4 weeks and start a new game. I play for about 5 hours (usually not 5 hours straight, but broken down into a few sessions), and then I stop playing. The beginning of the game is SO boring to me at this point, I'm going to delete ALL of my saves and make sure I stick with one character this time. I have never reached the max level in Skyrim, so hopefully I'll be able to do so passively without getting bored and starting a new game.

I was initially going to do a fresh install and download only the must-have mods, but I've already done that a couple of times. I think I have everything I need at this point. Now I just need to figure out which race I want to play as, and whether I'll roll a male or female. Plus a short backstory to go off of, though that usually comes to me while I'm playing.

I am playing on the Xbox 360, Huge fan of the console. Allows me to keep Mod temptation to 0%. with over 540+ hours i am coming to the stage where thigns are becoming repeative so Skyrim (PC version) has been ordered and a few mods may be put into the situation.

Massive Fan of Single Player RPG and Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim have kept me excited since their release.

I am a Huge fan of unmarked quests aswell, these which allow us to gather information and investigate without knowing where our adventures will end up. Is the a MOD where you can take of quest markers?? that would make adventure more realistic.

For the PC users, could I trouble you guys to perhaps list the graphical enhancement mods your using? I'm in the same boat. I've got to many mods in and its all muddled up.

I'm sure there are such mods, but I personally use something called Immersive Hud (iHud). You can toggle the compass on/off (along with quest markers that show up). It also allows you to play around with settings like the reticule and health bars. I took away the reticule, enemy health bars, and toggled the compass off - it makes me so much more immersed, just with these little changes. I love shooting a bow without the reticule as well, as it makes it more challenging and more fun.

I like to have a vanilla feel as much as possible while at the same time also enhancing the graphics. Below are the graphics mods I use. The amount of endorsements speak for themselves.
I may have missed a couple, but these are all fantastic mods.
