(This RP will remain open until i feel we have enough characters. I am looking for serious Role players. and people who can stick to the story until the end.
I have decided that instead of just wrighting a story on my own and posting it to the library that I would rather enjoy playing it our in an RP. if you need refrences to build off of or need to know about the backstory, then look into the character Bio section and find Sir Kenneth R. the III my characters bio. This story is about the death of his father and how Sir Kenneth assumed his fathers roles afterword. but that will be at the end of the story... Now, dear readers and fellow role players here on TESOF I proudly bring you the first post in The White Rose's Last Pedal.)

"Now my son, Though you have 3 older brothers before you, you are still not the youngest of my children. With the assistance of your Friend and mentor Requies, You have shown signs of courage, strength, and leadership, but above all you have shown you have humility, and at heart you are humble. You treat all people you encounter fairly and just. You give every man his chance to prove himself before you judge them. For these reasons my son I have chosen you to be the hair to the title of my nobility and to the Head of the Russell Family Clan, as well as the land which our estate has been built on. when I pass all of my responsibility's and duties shall be your's as well as all of my privileges and wealth. I have already talked with your brothers both younger and older and your sister as well, they all agreed with me that you shall be my rightful hair. But know I do this because you have proven to me that you deserve it, and I know I hardly get the chance to tell you son.... But I love you, you make me proud."

These words struck Sir Kenneths memories "I love you too dad" he whispered to himself as he signed the official notice he reviewed it to make sure he was ready to send it to the crier and the city noticeboards all across High Rock and Tamriel.

It said

-WANTED-

Sir Kenneth R. Russell of Camlorn seeks adventurers and Brave warriors to assist him in a Rescue mission of great importance.
A Large sum of gold awaits any and all who are willing to assist. The details of the mission and the prize of gold will be told at The Russell Clans Family Estate just outside of Camlorn High Rock.

signed
Sir Kenneth R. Russell III

Kenneth let out a long exhale... and hoped that the
8 would send him the help and the fellow adventures he needed to complete this journey.

(((I might not be able to be consistent but I'll try and post at least eery night so t appears that I am alive. Is this OK?)))

Iogairn saw the sign posted on the corner of the street, just next to the tavern in Camlorn. He felt his coinpurse and grimaced. With more and more people stressed about the war, they didn't have time to appreciate good music. Or even Iogairn's music.
But the one factor that really worried him, was working with nobility. He wasn't particularly fond of anyone who rhymed 'House' with 'Mice'. He sighed. It was a lot of money, if only to find the lord's pet cat or favourite painting. After a minute of thinking he decided that he needed the money, if only to fuel his trip over the Wrothgarian mountains to Skyrim, since he was still wanted in Cyrodiil. He sighed again at his luck. Looked like he would have to stomach the pompous bastard in order to, well, survive.

He had rented a horse to travel to the Russel estate. Normally, he walked, however he wasn't sure how much time was necessary, and he didn't have time to wander. Having taken instructions from the innkeeper in Camlorn, he didn't find the keep with much hardship. One tends to notice when there's a bloody great stone building sprouting up from the ground.
He slowed down as he reached the gates, guarded by two soldiers with the Russel Heraldry clad on their tunics.
What is your name and intent?" one of them demanded.
Iogairn raised an eyebrow. "Really? Your maser has just sent out messages recruiting all adventurers and then you see someone like me come galloping up, and you think 'Oh, he must be here to deliver the milk' "
He looked at the continuous stare of the two guardsmen. He put his hand to his brow and groaned. Why did he always feel the need to do that And why did no-one appreciate it when he did? When he looked up he said, "My bame is Iogairn mac Eghin ua Mogrin. I am looking for a Ken- Sir Kenneth Russell about his rescue mission."

Requies leaned up against the wall next to Kenneth and as he finished writing the letter Requies approached him.

Requies held his head solemnly it was no easy task to deal with all that had happened. The Russel family had been like a second home for him and in many times of trouble they gave him, refuge and even aid in the most dire of circumstances. He had lost count of how many times he came to the estate injured only to leave three days later with no more than a smile from their family and thanks from his mouth for their restoration of him.

Requies viewed Kenneth as a brother and someone he would always trust and love he even had dreams of their families being stead fast friends and allies till the scribes could not count the years. His mentoring of Kenneth had served him well it gave him another thing to hold onto and a sight of how kind humanity can be and it became a reason for much of his resolve and much of his hope.

Requies spoke somberly "I will stay with you I know this is no easy time for you, but maybe it will help I've got some new books maybe studying and training can help take your mind off of this. I can't say I am taking this well either your family has always been open and kind to me this place has been a home for me in times where I had no other and the feeling I have the rage I feel is barely controllable...We will find him we will find those who did this and we will cut them down to the last man...and I will hunt whoever orchestrated this I swear.' Requies paused and let out a deep breath he had to calm down for Kenneth.

Requies patted Kenneth sympathetically on the back and gestured for him to follow whenever he was ready.

Alator and Alain ((I will make a bio of him later)), a Breton Knight of the Virane family and related in a distance rode with eachother on the streets of Camlorn, Alator were dressed in his blue robes and Alain dressed in Breton Heavy armor ((like the one here http://elderscrollsonline.com/en/media/concept-art/479 )) they had helped some Camlorn guards to arrest a band of bandits and had come back. Alain were related to Alator through Alators brother whom had died centuries ago, but for Alator that distance didnt matter. They wre from the same family and they treated eachother as such.

They saw the sign posted in Camlorn in a distance. They was about to just keep Walking when they saw the name on who needed help... Alator said "By the divines its the Russel family!" the Virane family from Daggerfall were friends to the Russels, or atleast they had been, Alator had not met a Russel for quite a while now. But he had fought with Kenneth a few times. Alain said "We need to help him!" Alain knew were the Russels lived and started riding there with haste, his cloak with the sigil of the Viranes the golden eagle on the blue field flapped behind him, Alator rode up next to him. They could now see the estate in a distance.

(ok a lot going on at once. Sir Kenneth's mother, Lady Donna L. Russsell of Daggerfall will be guiding those who come for the wanted poster to the family's grand dinning hall.)

A older woman ordered the guards "Out of the way fools, err why we don't have the elite guardsmen guard the front gates baffles me to this day, they at least know what troubles our family." Lady Donna looked up at the intimidating nord with fierce eyes, this was not a moment to test the lady's temper. "follow me kind sir." she said without hesitation as she lead him to the Grand Lobby the grand dinning hall there was a single breton servant in the hall when they arrived. "there is plenty of food to eat and plenty of spirits to drink i'm sure we have some nord mead in one of these barrels here." the stone walls that surrounded the outside of the main building did not do justice to the inside of the Russell Estate. the high ceiling made the grand dinning hall feel open and the many paintings and animal trophies proudly desplayed the family love of... well artwork and hunting. but among other things it truly was a grand dinning hall.
Lady Donna turned to the nord one last time and said "help your self to the food if you need anything don't leave the room just ask the servent my son will be with you shortly." and she returned to the front gate to lead in more travelers

(so for anybody joining from now until we start the quest put it in somewhere that Sir Kenneth's mother Lady Donna leads you into the grand dinning hall from the main gates.)

Meanwhile back up in Kenneth's study. Sir Kenneth let out a heavy sigh he turned to Requies and was about to say something when a younger breton women burst in to the room "MASTER REQUIES!" she yelled with a squeel. It was Sir Kenneth's younger sister, she only came up to requies' chest and she was 3 years younger then Sir Kenneth who was only 24. She charged in and hugged Requies and said "I did not know you were here Requies" she looked up at him and said with hope in her voice. "I've been so worried about father but I know now that with you here, he'll be okay" Sir Kenneth looked at Requies with an apologetic smile before softly saying "Belle Master Requies is under just as much stress as I so don't go forcing him to make promises." he pattered her on the shoulder. he turned and looked out the window which overlooked the courtyard, people were starting to arrive now. he wished that his older brothers were here, but they had all gone traveling around Tamriel some months ago, and Sir Kenneth knew even though at least two of them were good in a fight, this was not a quest for the inexperienced.

Alator and Alain had arrived at the Russels estate now, they were guided to the grand dining hall. Alain were thinking al the time how much they would make those who captured Kenneths father pay. Alain were thinking about if he should send a letter to his father, the lord of the Virane family, to call his banners and send a force to help them. Alators staff made an echoing sound every time it hit the floor. Alain regognized the calm on Alators face that hid away the fury that boiled inside him every time one of his friends were in danger.

Requies smiled at Belle only a child could find hope and happiness in times where everyone else only saw sorrow and worry. Requies laughed at Kenneth trying to divert and guide his sister it was no different than how he use to be with his sister and with the thought a twinge of sadness came across his face.

He composed himself and looked to Belle and said with a smile "I don't make promises I can't keep you know that Belle and I promise I will find those who have taken him and I will make them pay. I may be as stressed as your brother, but I have long learned how to direct stress and anguish into productivity."

Requies looked out the window a few people were beginning to arrive the sooner the better he thought. Requies was ready to go at a moments notice though he knew that acting to hastily would raise alarm and just might send the wrong message. For the moment though he tried to focus on other things and made polite conversation with Belle asking her of her studies if she had learned anything interesting and which path she was hoping to take whether it priestly, scholarly, or lordly he tried to pass the time discussing these things giving Kenneth a reprieve and letting him focus on the visitors to come.

After a bit Requies broke conversation with Belle to ask Kenneth a question he spoke with a serious tone and serious expression."Kenneth do you have a plan to present these men with...I know we intend on a rescue, but what exactly did they want...whatever information you have I need it now or are we flying in the dark?"

((Requies is only 5ft 9in so not sure how short she is))

Iogairn looked nervously around. The lady had told him to have food, but whenever he helped himself it was a either a trick and he got kicked out, or he ate too much...and got kicked out. He slowly reached towards the apple on the table, as if not to offend it. And then, with eyes checking the silent faces of the guards, he took a bite. No reaction. He smiled and had another, more relaxed bite. By the time he finished the apple he reached out to the meat, and started to fill his cup with wine-he stopped himself before the first drop hit his goblet. If he started on the alcohol he would defiately have too much He decided that he needed to be sober for this meeting.

(((I'm fine with the amount of RPers we have now, but I would like another person who wasn't a friend of the Russel family to join. I feel a bit alone as the only money-grabbing bounty hunter in this RP... :/)))

Alator and Alain took a seat at the table next to a Reachman. Alain said "Greetings Reachman, are you here to help the Russels?"

Alator said "Wait I know you... greetings Iogairn it has been a while!" a big smile appeared in Alators face.

Dunmer
Duran Vaynas felt lost in this new land.

High Rock lies on the opposite side of Tamriel from his homeland of Morrowind, and other than embarking a sea vessel and moving off of the continent to the Summerset Isles, High Rock is the farthest away one can get from Morrowind. Duran came in search of practice in honorable battle, and as High Rock was far from the growing possibility of war in Cyrodiil, Duran was not entirely convinced he would find such a battle in this seemingly calm and serene city.

As he entered the town of Evermor, near the High Rock-Hammerfell border, he immediately asked directions to the marketplace from an aged Breton who happened to walk by. The Breton was obviously not pleased with the heavily-armed Dunmer standing before him, ash-grey skin standing out amongst the light-skinned Bretons like a wolf amongst sheep. Breton had probably never ever seen a Dunmer until now, and quickly stated directions and sent Duran on his way, and appeared to be quite pleased to see the morose Dunmer leave.

As he walked to what was supposedly the marketplace, a noticeboard bordering the crowded street caught his attention. Specifically, a note stating:

Signed,
Sir Kenneth R. Russell III

The Dunmer swiftly swiped the note from the board and silently stowed it away in one of his many netch-leather pouches and continued on his way to the marketplace with renewed purpose. He'd never heard of this "Russell Clan" before, but he surmised he'd soon become acquainted with them.

Maybe there was an honorable challenge in this land after all.

Mette walked through the door into Sir Kenneth's study, "Husband... there 're some men 'ere to see you in the dinning hall." Kenneth turned and took his wifes hand. she stood just as tall as Kenneth even though she was a nord, "Everything is going to be fine, you 're a good man, the gods watch over good men like you." she said, her calm voice was complemented by her fair nordic accent. It relaxed Kenneth slightly as he looked lovingly into her eyes, then remembering that requies was still in the room, he regained his posture and spoke up. "Requies has been keeping me company while we waited for the others" Mette walked over to Requies and kissed him on the check in a polite manner. "It's good to be seeing you again Requies I trust you'll bring my husband back to me in one piece." she rubbed at her very pregnant belly. "I'm going to need him in a few months you know." Kenneth smiled then looked to Requies "let's go to the dinning hall now." he looked to his wife again and Kissed her, but as he began to move away she pulled him back and kissed him again. "Don't you go being any more of a hero then you have to understand me? I fell in love with you because you were brave not because you were foolish." He looked at her sorrofully he did not wish to leave her when their first child was so close to arraiving. "I love you." he said before he grabbed his sword and sheathed
it.
He walked out of the room and didn't look back, there was to much on his mind as it were.

(((I think that should be enough. It could get overcrowded)))

"Hmm?" Iogairn turned around with a mouthful of food. "Oh," he said, swallowing it down, "greetings to... you also." He wiped his moth with his sleeve before realising whose company he was in. He swore under his breath. "Ah, well, yes I suppose. They're more helping me though, if you know what I mean."
