As you may know if you keep up on Bosmer Lore, before they made the green pact they were constant shapeshifters. They would involuntarily change to a different demonic form every second. They prayed to the god Y'ffre (aka Jephre) and to give them a solid continuous form, they made the green pact. (see http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Green_Pact ) Now it also says that there is a ritual that can turn them back into their shapeshifter form. This form is called wildhand. If things got too intense, then the Bosmer would transform into "The Wild Hand" Who were the demonic uncontrollable shapeshifters. Do you think that this would be incorporated or at least mentioned in eso. I could imagine it as an ultimate or maybe a story event of the bosmer contacting Y'ffre or anything like that.

There's no text on the link.

Also, if there were racial ultimates, that might be one, though I think it's a bit too obscure, and would probabally be a "Tame Animals" skill instead.

Yeah, that could possibly be there, and may be mentioned but I do believe its far more likely that taming animals will be the racial ability, could be the ultimate skill, might not, we'll wait and see.

I'm sure you meant Wild Hunt. It turns you into murderous monstrosity indeed. The problem is it's only one way ticket. That's why it won't ever be useable by player character.

On the other hand, I would like to see it at some point in the game as story event.

Thanks, I knew the name was a bit off. I did not know that it was a one shot. I knew that the bosmer would kill other bosmer in the frenzied state, but I didn't know it was one and done.

The problem with Wild Hunt is once Bosmer or Bosmers undertake a ritual, they can never go back to their former form. Once their purpose is over, they turn on each other and kill themselves or roam the forest for the rest of their life as mindless monster.

that does not work.
The wild hunt is only invoked in times of need, also it is only made in large groups of bosmer and they DO NOT change back.
this is a big one. they kill each other till only one of them remains.
Such as King Daed Deer-Wolf.

This would make for an awesome quest line or event, indeed! Considering they're not all too afraid to bend the lore, having a racial ultimate isn't out of the question. It'll raise a lot of eyebrows, but I wouldn't call it impossible. Unlikely, but not impossible.

Dunno. They've pulled some stunts already. Disregarding the lore, it'll lend itself wonderfully to an ultimate. Better be prepared.

what kind of lore disregarding has been going on? The only thing I know about so far is the Cyrodiil =/= Jungle thing, but that's a debateable issue of CHIM's retroactiveness.

haven't heard them do anything too drastic with the lore. Perhaps strange or a bit odd, but nothing that couldn't e explained.

Well, I've heard they changed their excuse on Cyrodill landscape from "Wizard Talos did it" to "It was just a transcription error".

Than there is the whole "Bosmer cannibalism is private thing" (it's not) and the whole deal with "generification" of Altmer architecture. Kind of makes you worried what they butcher next.

I do remember reading about the Bosmer cannibalism thing, which made me kind of upset. However, there is still time for them to fix it. As for the Altmer architecture thing, I read that in the Q&A I think, and their explanation made sense. Also, that would be something silly to get upset about before actually seeing what it looks like.
