About Traveler's Guild
Main Ranks & Positions Rules
Looking for mature players who don't mind working with others, the Traveler's Guild will be a guild initially dedicated to recruiting members from all factions and discovering all that Tamriel has to offer, and then pooling our information together so that everyone may benefit from our collective experience.

While keeping this previous goal in mind, the Traveler's Guild will also be highly supportive of crafters/merchant players, and we will tend to lean towards light-to-moderate roleplaying. With that in mind, we'd like to encourage our members to travel and explore in groups or pairs, for example, a devoted crafter in need of rare resources could appeal to one of our more battle-inclined members to escort them into Cyrodil to retrieve aforementioned resources, possibly in return for a discount on that crafter's goods.

Because of our devotion to crafters, it would also be prudent for at least some of us to engage in AvA so as to secure keeps and fortresses in Cyrodil from whence we can purvey our goods to non-guild members as well, so hopefully the Traveler's guild can appeal to players of all inclinations.

So in summary, the Traveler's Guild is NOT a guild that requires its members' full devotion, but rather is a guild devoted to supporting its members through mutually beneficial relationships: AvA/PvP'ers help the crafters by taking keeps for the guild and allowing the crafters to sell to a wider market, and can help crafters collect resources from Cyrodil, and in return crafters can offer free or discounted items of their own making to the fighters of the guild.

Travel on, Travelers! (note: nobody will ever be required to say this <-)
Because we are not a particularly "militant" guild, do not expect the ranks to be a big deal, but rather see them as an indicator as to what a person in the guild does and how good they are at it. Here are some ideas for guild ranks, but they will be open for discussion if anyone else has ideas:

Caravan Master- an experienced crafter who can be trusted to lead or provide helpful information
Caravaneer- a member who is for the most part independent, and likely a crafter
Master Crafter- someone who has maxed out two crafting trees
Expert Crafter- someone who has maxed out one crafting tree
Hired Sword- a combat-centric non-crafter who may be willing to offer their services to group up with and protect a crafter who wants to make a foray into Cyrodil or other dangerous places in search of materials, may also aid in taking over a keep

Again, if anyone has suggestions, I am open to them, so long as they keep within the "theme" of the guild.
*Don't be an unreasonable dick
*If someone helps you in a significant way, such as escorting you to Cyrodil, even if no particularly dangerous situations arise, REWARD them appropriately for their time.
*Don't spam the guild chat (however that's going to work in-game) or otherwise harass our members, or you will be kicked out of the guild and blacklisted
*RPing is not a requirement, but don't harass those that do
*Keep your language civil, you can curse, but it should be appropriate for the situation.

Basically, this is all just common courtesy. Be nice to your guildies, try not to be a pain, and reward others appropriately.

I am definitely one to wish to join this guild. Although, it would be nice to have a higher sense of orderness to it.
