Faction & Race:
Ebonheart Pact (Dunmer)

Firstname - Valos

Surname - Indaren

Title - Ordinator

Sex - Male

Race - Dunmer/Dark Elf

Age - 218

Height - 6'2

Occupation - Ordinator

Faction - In order of amount of loyalty he feels to them Tribunal Temple, Morrowind, Ebonheart Pact

Appearance - Noticeably taller than most Dunmer, but not significantly so. His skin is the grayish blue color that is commonly associated with his people. His eyes are a deep red with a tint of yellow. He has the Tribunal hand prominently tattooed on his forehead. His hair, though once black, has turned grey with age. He has shaved his head, partly to keep it out of his way while fighting, and partly to hide the fact that he's getting older. He has a bit of facial hair, but usually keeps it well trimmed. He has quite a few scars scattered across his body, some from training and others from battle, most of them are minor, but he does have a few major scars from his time defending Morrowind in the Akaviri Invasion. (Guy in picture except with tribunal tattoo on forehead)

Personality - Very reserved, he doesn't show much emotion. He finds it very hard to open up to people, as he has never really had any close relationships in his life. He is a bit of an Elven supremacist, seeing the enslavement of the lesser races (Beast Races and Humans) as completely acceptable. He respects the other Elven races, but still sees the Dunmer as superior to them. He is often described as humorless, taking everything seriously. Valos has started to get older, and he's slowly realizing this. He's noticed that his senses are starting to dull, and he's not quite as strong or fast as he once was. After the coming conflict Valos has decided to take a less active role in the ordinators, and accept a position of command, while he would still take place in the occasional battle, his main focuses would be on organizing and training the ordinators, as well as assigning missions to the younger members.

Social Background/Backstory - He was born in Mournhold to a middle class Dunmer family with ties to the Temple and House Indoril. His parents made sure he grew up well educated in the ways of the Tribunal Temple, and was taught from a young age that devotion to the Tribunal is more important than anything else. Although not cruel, his parents were very strict, and were quick to punish him if he slacked off on his studies. In his early twenties, he enrolled in the Ordinators. It had always been a dream of his to become a member of the Ordinators, who he saw as the defenders of the Dunmer faith. After his training, he was chosen to join the order of war withing the Ordinators. He took his job very seriously and rose through the ranks quickly, becoming known as a soldier who followed orders without question and got the job done quickly and efficiently. He fought bravely against the Akaviri in their invasion of Morrowind, and was even offered a place in the High Ordinators, the elite Ordinators that guard the Dunmer capital of Mournhold. Although it was a very prestigious position, he decided he would rather stay in the order of war, and keep fighting against the enemies of the Tribunal, so he declined the offer. He was still a member of the Ordinators at the time of the formation of the Ebonheart Pact, and is planning on fighting against the Daggerfall Covenant and the Aldmeri Dominion to secure the Pact's future as the leading alliance in Tamriel. Although he is getting older, he is still considered one of the most capable ordinators the temple has to offer.

Best Memory - Being offered a position in the High Ordinators, even though he declined the offer, he was honored to even be considered for a position among the most elite of the Ordinators.

Family - His parents live in Mournhold, although they are extremely old and rarely leave their home. He remembers to write to them every once in a while, but rarely sees them in person. His brother is a priest in the temple and also lives in Mournhold. His brother is the only person Valos feels comfortable opening up to, and he writes to him frequently.

Skills - Blade, Medium Armor/Heavy Armor, Destruction Magic

Challenges for the Character - Opening up to others, social interactions in general aren't very easy for him. He also has trouble accepting the other races of the Ebonheart Pact as equal. Valos is also starting to get older, and he's noticed it taking a toll on his body. Although he is past his time, what he has lost in strength and speed he has gained in skill and cunning.

Religious Views - Extremely devoted the the Tribunal, especially Vivec.

Political Views - Doesn't really have any, in his mind he should do whatever the tribunal desires without question, so whatever they decide, he follows. He doesn't think too much of Morrowind's new allies, but realizes that the Dunmer need allies to maintain their independence from the other major powers of Tamriel.

Valos Indaren seems like a pretty good character!

I like how you've kept consistent ties with the Dunmer in his background with the worship of the Tribunal, the strict discipline of House Indoril, and the keen suspicion of foreign races. His devotion and sternness stays true to the Ordinators we're familiar with in Morrowind, so that's a plus as well! I also like how you've included the Akaviri invasion into his background, as that's a very important recent event for the Dunmer people.

I'll be interested to see how you utilize this character in the future. Often it's difficult to roleplay a less social type of character as they're less talkative and more likely not to get mixed up in things. But it's definitely doable, and I'm sure you have a few things in mind already.

Also high five for another Tribunal Dunmer!

Character Profiles:
Endaros Ilmori - Buoyant Armiger
Sunrio - Aldmeri Justiciar

Taren Jucanis - Imperial Deserter (Used for The Black Shroud RP)

Thanks for the feedback! Always good to hear from a fellow dunmer. I'm glad you liked him, I was really going for the classic ordinator type character.

This is a nice character, a Dunmer in every way, reserved, slightly arrogant, serious. His upbringing is very 'Indoril' too. As you say, he's the classic Ordinator.

Greetings Muthsera! Great character, and a fellow Worshiper of the Tribunal. He is pretty similar to my Chracter, difference is he seems to be more of a warrior.
As Horizon Seeker mentioned above, it is great to see that you actually chose to be a very realistic Dunmer.
I wonder, What does Valos think of the Good Deadra? and of the Ashlnders? And is he planning on working with the Hands of Almalexia?

Thanks for the feedback! When it come to the good Daedra Valos generally just thinks of them as worthy of respect but not nearly as important as the tribunal. He sees the ashlanders as heretics seeking to undermine temple authority and generally considers them to be backwards and primitive compared to the surperior tribunal worshipping dunmer. As for the Hands of Almalexia I'm pretty sure they just serve Almalexia and mainly function as her body guards, so no, Valos will be working mainly with the order of war within the ordinators.
