Advanced Guild Search?

So currently TESOF has 341 guilds for people to advertise and join. Currently it only has one search filter which deals with the alliances, and it works just as its intended!

Are there any further plans to upgrade the available search options for those looking for a more specific guild?

Installing a filter for categories such as Play-Style, Focus, and Time Zone may help both members and visitors pinpoint guilds they might want to join. Currently 341 guilds is a lot to search through, and a more advanced search engine may make the guilds page more attractive to peruse.

I was planning on adding selectable filters, yes. Something's happening behind-the-scenes at the moment though and I'm unsure if I should proceed or not. So I guess this is a case of "if it happens, it happens."

Alrighty then.

Guess there's still plenty of time to see if that could go through then. I'd imagine there'd be a sharp increase in guilds and people looking for guilds once a steady flow of game info starts streaming in.

Well, it's not *that* bad. In EP, the largest faction, there are only 160-something guilds. Of those, over half zero-activity. No posts, no members, etc. Presumably, these guilds are dead. The number is more like a third if you consider guilds that have only had 1 or 2 posts in them and have been inactive for months, which are also presumably dead.

That leaves about 50 guilds that are active, which in and of itself narrows the list down significantly.
