i know the appearances change depending on the race of the victim, but is there any increase of physical strength?. Because Orthjolf is always threatening to tear my arms off :D. I'm also guessing the powers are more deadly if the victim has been bitten by a more powerful vampire.

I hope they are more like the Vampires from Oblivion (ie. increased speed, strength, magical skill, jump height, etc.).

By arrow. By blade.
By tooth. By claw.
By shock. By frost. By flame.
The Aldmeri Dominion will dominate Tamriel.
Our enemies will fall until the Throne is ours.

Being a vampire in Skyrim, on the other hand, was terrible and had no real bonuses. But at least we didn't take sun damage.

I agree, I think there should be serious benefits and serious repercussions. However in a multiplayer game with competitive PvE/PvP they will probably go with something much less interesting.

is looking like an absolute princess an advantage?

who realy wants to be a vampire anyway?
this is a sickness, not a superpower. You think youd be stronger than anyone? i scoff at the notion.

You nailed the key point there - MMO means balance (usually failed balance) but you get my point. So Vampirism will be cosmetic at best. That would be my guess.

The more I read about the game I see a lost interest in people wanting to become Vamps/werewolves.
I'm actually considering doing it, Id like to see how it works, regardless of how different it is.

That being said, vampire only quest lines/factions would be a perk.
The balance to that could be less interaction with your own faction.

I'm still going to be a Vampire simply because I love Vampires.

I already think the number of vampires and werewolves is going to weird. I seriously hope players cannot infect eachother.

I'm on the same lines as you, I'm hoping its an obscure thing to come across.
I don't want to see thousands of vampires running around because they failed to cure disease before it took over.

Best advantage of being a vampire is that your skin glimmer in the sun and you can communicate with other by giving them long emo stares and saying nothing

Debating with someone on the Internet is like mudwrestling with a pig. You get filthy and the pig loves it

It also makes you virtually irresistible to fictional females.

Those aren't vampires in Twilight, they're like, venomous, stone, reptile humanoids that sometimes drink blood and like to hang around with idiot teenagers.

I like both vampires and werewolves, it'll be interesting to see how they balance the two and implement them. I'm intrigued by both, but swayed by one more than the other.
