Faction & Race:
Aldmeri Dominion
Khajiit
First name: Aerin/Jart

Second name: Unknown, they (both) may not have one

Title: The Half Mad (due to her double personalities)

Gender: Female - Aerin, Male - Jart

Race: Bosmer - Aerin, Redguard - Jart

Age: 31 - A, 50 - J

Occupation: Healer/wanderer - A, warrior/traveler - J

Faction: Does not really support one - A, DC - J

Appearance: As when born there was just Aerin she is a female bosmer, quite short with dark brown eyes, almost black that change to a silver/blue whenever she changes personality to Jart. She has long ginger hair that she always hangs loose (Jart ties it up with a rope). Fortunately they both prefer robes with a bit of heavy armour and eventually they found clothing that they both liked, a white and crimson woolen robe interwoven with very thin bits of iron. The weapon Aerin uses is a black bow, though she prefers healing to fighting. Jart uses two steel sword that he carries crossed on his back.

Voice:
Aerin: She has quite a soothing voice, not high but medium. People have said her voice flows, never halting or making mistakes. It's smooth, soothing, calm and quiet.

Jart: His voice is as deep as Aerin's body would allow, which is quite deep. It's very gruff and jolly, and can be very reassuring to some and too loud for others.
Personality:
Aerin - Aerin is very quiet, shy and gentle, hating to use violence unless completely necessary. She's quite scared of her other personalty and prefers to stay away from civilization in case she switches to Jart, despite him not being especially violent or strange. She stays away from people as they grow untrusting of her and call her mad if she suddenly switches to Jart. Though the one thing she is terrified and hates is vampires. Despite all this she quite like Jart and enjoys the conversations they can have with the help of Miasmador.

Jart: Jart is headstrong, wild and loud, often getting into fights. He loves the tavern and that's where he gets into fights mostly. He often gets Aerin into trouble by finding ways to get arrested in most cities. He will willingly follow anyone if they promise adventure, gold or beer. Despite being so loud he is actually quite agile and fast when fighting, going deathly quiet the moment he draws his swords. He likes to say that he doesn't need to say a thing when his "beauties" out as they do the talking for him. Despite Aerin being scared of changing to him near civilization, he is quite fond of his other personality.

Aerins backstory: She lived in a small village just outside the borders of Valenwood with her twenty five year old brother as her mother and father went on a sailing trip to try and find Akavir when she was one year old. When she was two a group of bandits attacked their village while she was playing outside in the field next to the village. They were fought off but she was captured and taken by the bandits. She was given to some hooded figures a day after. Later, when she was older and returned to her village she discovered the bandits were themselves being attacked by a coven of vampires who were demanding a sacrifice if they were going to stop attacking the bandits. The day after she was taken by the hooded vampires they began to feed off her and beat her. Finally she drifted of, nothing but her body was with the vampires. Finally after five years with the vampires her almost lifeless body was taken to High Rock where she was left by the road. There she lay for a week, starving, until a traveling Breton mage found her and carried her to where he had made camp. He healed her fully and after a couple of week she woke, as herself. She grew up with him and he taught her how to use Restoration magic. Whenever he asked her how she got to where she had been found she had to shrug, as she could not remember, she had blocked out the memory years ago when she detached her mind from her body. When she was sixteen she left him, learning all she could from him about restoration. She was seventeen when she was travelling along the roads of Skyrim, only to be attacked by a vampire in a robes. She defeated him but the sight of him awoke long hidden memories. She fainted but when she awoke there was someone else in her, hidden, but still in her. She switched personalities a hour later when approaching a khajiit trading caravan. She walked up to them, different eyes, different voice and different personality, she was Jart them. After getting in a fight with the leader and losing she was taken to the Whiterun cells where she awoke as Aerin again. From there her life as two people began... (later on in life they would meet Miasmador who would help both of them get along with each other, and they and Miasmador would become close friends.)

Best memory:
Aerin: Meeting her brother again and spending a month in the village
Jart: The first time he held his swords in his hands

Worst memory:
Aerin: When she was tortured and fed on by numerous vampires
Jart: The first headache he ever got, and it was by far the worst

Skills:
Aerin: Restoration, medium armour
Jart: One handed, medium armour, getting extremely drunk...

Challenges for the character:
Aerin/Jart: Sharing the same body and agreeing on things, sometimes not doing what the other wants, etc...

Birthsign:
Aerin/Jart: Steed

Religious views:
Aerin:
She worships Mara and also Y'ffre
Jart:
He doesn't get much time to worship gods as his free time is mostly spent in taverns, but if asked he says he worships every single god there is as an easy way out of the question.

Other: In certain conditions Aerin's personality will go slightly weird and she can seem mad. When she sees vampires both her and Jart will immediately attack, throwing themselves at the vampire even without weapons in their hands. Aerin and Jart have another personality, though due to that not being a human, mer of beast race they both try to hide it. Their third personality is a snow fox who will take over when any severe pain or panic comes. When in this state they have been known to bite, growl and go onto all fours, just acting like a snow fox in general.

Note: When using Aerin the posts will always be in brown and Jarts in blue (their eye colour), due to potential confusion when using the character as when they switch personalities suddenly.

(Just as a note, I do not know anyone with dissociative disorder, neither do I have it myself. All I did was do a little bit of research about the disorder so if I get anything wrong please let me know! Thanks.)

I just did some study in class on dissociative identity disorder not long ago, very interesting stuff. I salute you for bringing that into the RP world here, definitely not something you will see in most characters. She kind of reminds me of the main character from that Tara show, especially with her male alter-personality.

I also like how you seem to make connections between all your characters. The thought has never crossed my mind before, but I might consider doing something like that too. I think it adds a little more to the character.

Yeah, I'd heard about the disorder and did a bit of research. Thanks, though it's going to be pretty hard if I ever want to RP with them, confusing at least! Thanks for the feedback Grape. Oh, also, are you still RPing, because I haven't seen you on a RP for a while.

Yeah currently I'm only in one RP right now. I was gone for almost two weeks or so. When I got back most of the active RPs seem to be closed so I haven't joined a new one for a while. Alator is making a new one though and I will be taking part in that one.

Hopefully that will go well and will be enjoyable. The battle for the Imperial City, yeah?

Yes that is the one, I think it will be OK as long as it doesn't move too fast. That's my problem I work usually during the time when everyone is active in the RPs it seems. That's partly why I ended up just dropping out of a lot of them because I didn't want to read through 6 pages every night...but I digress, this RP seems like it will need a lot of planning and ooc discussion so I'm sure the pace will be just fine.
