The Akaviri invasion of 572 had a major influence in forming the Ebonheart Pact so it would only make sense to do an RP. I'm new enough to role-playing and I'm not exactly sure how to do this with others but would anybody like to take part in this?
I'd like to perhaps do one with the perspective of a Nord in Skyrim, a Dunmer in Morrowind and maybe one of the Akaviri also. Feedback majorly appreciated!!!

I've moved this over to the Roleplay Discussion board as this is currently an OOC pre-stage planning portion for the actual RP. Once you gain the feedback and support and start the IC portion up, then it would be onto the Role-playing board!

Good luck in getting this idea going!

I'm pretty sure now that I want to do this in diary entries or letters or maybe a combination of both but I don't think I will do the Akaviri side as I don't think there is enough information on the Tsaesci to do the story justice. Still though it will take a lot of effort so if anyone can suggest ideas to me it would help a lot.

I haven't seen a diary entry or letter style of RP quite yet, if you are refering to an Open RP and not a single author story. It's an interesting concept to do, several people exchanging correspondence or giving their different views upon events, if that is what you mean. Such a method however is more complicated than the traditional straightforward approach, and some may be skeptical of it. Just keep that in mind incase you pursue this route.

Concerning the Tsaesci, you could of course mention and describe them in very broad terms and generalizations, as done in stories for the in-game book series and the Jorunn the Skald-King Story. Of course you lose out on fun of really detailing these invaders, but that may be the price for conservative lore integrity. I've also heard it may have been the "ice demon" Akaviri who invaded during this time rather than the "snake men" variety. That's something that's a bit fuzzy.

If you feel you really have an idea down, I find it might be best to just get the RP going and start up, then people will naturally jump in if they like what they see.

Hmm good points. I don't think the diary open RP thing will work so I'm now thinking of doing a single story. The akaviri general's name suggests that he was part of the Kamal (my bad). I might also do the second akaviri invasion where there is a lot more information. Thanks for the feedback!

A journal entry way of recounting the Akaviri invasion sounds like it'd be a good read! The rumors of a foreign invasion, the rallying of a defensive army, the first sight of these monstrous invaders from another land... There's certainly a draw to it there!

Good luck in its creation!
