An Eye for an Eye
Ma’Jehdarr soft underside of his paws padded softly on the leafy scrub of the autumn forest, barely making a sound as he made his way forward. He had potions hanging on his belt, steel arrows in his quiver with a slung bow resting next to it. Ma’Jehdarr’s Light leather armour blends smoothly into the background, with its orange to brown colours all around him. He himself was a Cathay-Raht with a soft brown fur which was plaited around the back of his head. Ma’Jehdarr was aging; he was now an old cat of 30, far older than his other kin in this never ending war, his eyes looked tired but he was alert as ever.
He brushed a branch away from his face as he continued to walk; he kept a wary eye out for trouble, sweeping the landscape with his eyes. Suddenly he drew his bow in one fluid motion drawing an arrow and fitting it in his bow; he scanned the area and saw a fox dart from tree to tree. Ma’Jehdarr relaxed, he was getting paranoid. He looked behind him and noticed Ma’Rajjar was keeping up and being unusually quiet, “Good work young one” he growled “We’re nearly there.” Ma’Rajjar pointed out the smoke above the tree line and they realised they were of track, “Nearly there, just bear left.”
Through the trees they observed tents of red and yellow spanning a massive, the sound of soldiers exchanging war stories and grinding their swords flooded his ears, grimacing he pulled a silvery potion from his belt and took a sip before handing it to Ma’Rajjar who had caught up. In the space of a minute they were both completely invisible and walking through the rows of tents towards the general’s tent. He winced as he heard from the back a loud crash as swords and spears flying to the ground. He kept walking; Ma’Rajjar could get himself out of this one.
They reached the Generals tent with about 34 minutes left to go for the invisibility, they were in luck it was completely empty of life, “Ma’Rajjar guard the entrance” and Ma’Jehdarr started shuffling through piles of paper. He found what he was looking for fairly quickly but he was required to copy it to avoid detection. He pulled out a quill and dipped it in ink before copying the information every now and then glancing up at the tent opening. Once he had finished he purred softly “Ma’Jehdarr is done, time to go.” He started to leave just as what he presumed to be the General walk in, battle worn with his hand resting on his sword, cuts and scars dotted around his body, they bumped into each other with a clash and the invisibility was removed from the sudden impact. The general pulled his sword in an instance on the unsuspecting Khajiit and drew a trench from his lips to his forhead, cutting through his left eye. Ma’Jehdarr cried out in pain and jumped back drawing his dual ebony daggers and dived forward plunging them into the general, blood pouring from his eye. He clasped a hand over the wound and held tight. “We have to go… now Ma’Rajjar”
He started running from the tent creating yells and war cries as he went, as he made his way into the forest. In a moment of pure panic he increased his pace, dodging behind trees as arrows thudded into them. Intel in his pack, daggers in his hands he turned around to find they had given up on the chase, looking around he heard a clopping of hooves to the left. Stumbling towards it he noticed it was a carriage of weapons and armor making its way to the camp, his best bet was to go the other way…

Nice story, but what happens to Ma'Rajjar in the end? Can escape, too? ;)

And you say that Ma'Jehdarr is an old cat of thirty. The prefix "Ma" on the other Hand means child, Young or virgin :P I´m pretty sure you informed yourself over Khajiit naming traditions, so I wonder what you meant with that >;)

do they re name themselves as they age or what? Im not sure, I was questioning myself about that but I thought it would be safer to keep his name as it is so you can identify him when he pops up.

Well, the actually name would be "Jehdar". The Prefix is rather showing his rank in Khajiiti Society, but mostly this is common to male Khajiits.
