one quest in ebonheart there was a teenage vampire chick but she looked more like a young small dark elf, but given the voice over and hair sold the image of a teen.

There would be more children if the Aldmeri were capable of killing adults and not our eggs!

No, no children. I noticed the omission, though personally I find it a barrier to full immersion as it is a glaring oversight to me since no culture can continue to exist without children. That said, you will find the game to your taste in that respect.

And not taking into account the apparent immaturity of many other players when I say this!

Skyrim conquerer. Morrowind and Oblivion vet. Long-time single-player computer gamer W/custom-made hi-perf OCd PC. Mostly RTS and a few action games.
Noob to MMOs.
Crappy satellite Internet very laggy pings 700-1000 not god for gaming, can't play most online games but ESO works good enough.

Kinda glad there aren't any children (yet) as for most of the time they're exactly the same as adults only smaller.
Would prefer them taking their time on creating children that are actual children.

having children in any game has always been taboo for some reason. i think there was some controversy when a mod came out for skyrim where you could actually kill children. i dont know the details. but as a previous poster mentioned, for some reason we dont like to see kids in video games with violence maybe?

i dunno. Personally i want children i nthe game. it makes the world feel more alive, think about it all these towns and they are all adults, i mean, do people not breed in Tamriel?

I want children in the game too. And I want pregnancy in the game. Maybe not for pcs but to enrich the social fabric of the world and to provide a more emotional experience. For me , kids, and pregnant women, would make me feel like im fighting for something much more worwhile than loot, glory, and faction.

The NPCs present in-game are all present to interact with player characters. In this respect, it is not surprising that children are not present. Nonetheless, I think there are contexts where the presence of children as extra enhancement would be nice. An example would be instanced and/or phased "villages" for player housing, where both PCs and NPCs would be able to interact, and NPCs as children of both PCs and NPCs would be possible.

One of the "features" of children in Skyrim that I did not like was that they all pretty much looked the same and were the same apparent age. This is not at all immersive. If ESO someday has children, I would not be pleased unless they varied by age and by appearance at least as much as player characters do. By the way, NPCs in ESO look too much alike, insofar as there are just a few standard models for them. I swear I see the same Bretons, Orcs, and Redguards all over High Rock, with different names and clothes but otherwise identical.

This is just plain untrue. There are dozens of NPCs per alliance in PvE solo that just "do their own thing," and you cannot converse with them (no prompt either). Most of them are either farming, or bending over or sitting. They do add to the ambiance of the area. Sometimes if you press "E" pointing at them while close to them they will say something similar to "hello," but that's the extent of it. And for most of these, I have never been able to talk to them even after doing all of the quests nearby and of that area's level. FYI.
