Battle for The Imperial City-Ebonheart Pact (Only for EP Members in RP)

Alright fellow pact members in the rp let me start off saying I hope this rp goes well and I am looking forward to playing with all of you and beating our enemies haha. On to rules and descriptions.

1. Post what items your character has including weapons and armor and if they are enchanted include the enchantment. Include items such as survival equipment in your back pack and so on and most of all be reasonable and realistic. We don't want people just saying and I pull out my sword of plus ten against altmer randomly. You will only be able to initially unless finding something new be able to utilize what you state you have so think and choose wisely.

2. Every few pages which is yet to be undetermined will make up a day and night and only actions stated on the pages that make up said day or night are valid. This is going to be to more realistically limit the actions of the troops since we could not do ten things in one day. Exceptions may be made for people who were not able to paste for a few pages.

3. A morale system will be in place and I will no go into detail as to how that works this is up to change though.
Morale will go from 0-10. 0 is a surrender and 10 is an unbreakable will.
Each PC in a group will add +1 to the units morale. The group with greater morale will have an initial advantage. Other factors such as spells or unseemly events may also effect morale. Each loss will deduct points off a units overall morale for the next battle and all victories will add points. This is still being discussed among the people involved and may change or be scrapped depending on how well it is used or works out.

4. Every character must state at least once per day in game that they have slept, eaten, and drank or else realistically and in game they will not preform as well. (This is my personal touch and others might disagree, but I suggest it and it would only take a sentence to say)

5. In battles tally marks will be given for different strategies that can add to success and morale of the unit.

6. The only spells allowed to be spammed are destruction and restoration other spells are expected to be used sparingly and for great effect. This is to control the chaos and make sure that when they are used they have the proper effect and ramifications we want rather than just being an annoyance.

I will be updating this list as a I sift through the discussion thread and find more rules to put in here.

The Description of EP troops

The camp is near the banks on the outskirts of the Imperial city across from ruins. It was placed in between and near a few strategic points of interest. PM for further details. There are quite a few tents, but for the most part it is simple camp fires and people with rolls sleeping on the ground. For the moment that is.

Field Commander- Kaaos Menestys

Officer- Fears-No-Fire

Officer- Miasmador

Officer- Bjorn Frost

Officer- Dreyns (no post)

Combat troops number currently around 485 men (Not sure on what numbers are to be expected so this could change) These troops are composed of all types of combat capable people. (Rogues, Warriors, and Wizards)

Elite Troops- 50

Veteran Troops- 120

Experienced Troops- 150

Fresh Blood/Inexperienced- 165

Of these men 150 men are archers. 50 are wizards. 225 are warriors about a quarter carry bows. 75 are mixed class/skills

Auxiliary forces number around 25 men. This group includes spies/assassins, craftsmen, medical staff, couriers, and diplomat/negotiators.

Craftsmen-4

Spies/Assassin-3

Diplomats/Negotiators-3

Personal Starting supplies given to all troops- 3 health potions, 3 stamina potions, 2 weeks of rations, 25 feet of rope, 15 bandages, a piece of red cloth about 3 feet long, and a steel marker with their name inscribed on it.

This is the first description of the EP and its army. I will be updating this with what equipment the troops have as well as the supplies that are currently available and even what extra supplies and or equipment our Auxiliary forces have. I hope this is not to much and helps to flesh things out for everyone I will add officers as people post their characters and equipment and with each officer I would like a quick description of them for me to add under their rank.

No idea lol honor code?? lol For you equipment you may want to specify bandages and so on unless thats all you think you need =) basically how many potions you have and that kind of thing needs to be specified to some extent

We have no horsemen at this time because it was a strategic decision for urban warfare to take in ground forces trade in cavalry for auxiliary forces and magic users basically. This will be a grounded fight with a closed area horses would be a liability and only equal loss of resource and money.

Your weapons and armor are perfectly fine and if they are enchanted I just ask you state it and as for standard gear for prolonged engagement yes you all have that and it is essentially 2 weeks of rations with 3 hp poitions 3 stamina potions and about 15 bandages 25 ft of rope anything beyond that is extra equipment that must be listed =)

Also we do have cooks among the non combat troops so food is not as much of a concern the rations are for if shit goes real far south.

So if anyone can at some point I would like to discuss strategy for the plan and battle out of character since we are going with the prison. Post when you can and we can begin discussion, but I am gonna break down some of the strategy as to how things will operate here rather than rely completely on the rp thread so that when I role play it will be more clear also any advice or suggestions are very welcome this is a group counsel and we gotta work together for the best and most efficient way of doing this

One health potion, a red piece of cloth, an extra cloth shirt (to be ripped up for bandages)

Everyone else seems so much better equipped then Miasmador... Oh well, she'll be able to move a lot faster, and won't get too hot to quickly... Anyway, what's happening with the assignments, who's doing what?

So as it stands lets break this down.

Assignment One: Melee and or Bridge Securing force TBD

Assignment Two: Magical and Ranged Support Officer Dreyns

Assignment Three: Guarding non combat troops TBD

Assignment Four: Sewer and or infiltration squad Fears

As for equipment if you don't want to come up with anything you can just put the standard down though you don't even have to carry it.
Better is a harsh word her equipment suits her I mean Kaaos is only wearing leather armor so he is considerably less heavily armored a lot of the nords are probably more akin to your armor style anyways just saying no one is really better equipped its more about who uses what style of fighting and that kind of thing so each person then comes in do they wear the best thing for that style lol for example Mia is probably faster than most of the troops

right slightly late say but bamf here i am and i will run off for a week and a half soon :S vacations *chills*

Outfit:

Black robes compared from linnen clothed vestment, chainmail chest, padded with leather and over it the linnen black robing with hood.

Weapons:

A longsword (not a twohander but a longsword as a longsword), incantations and spells

Equipment:

Flask of magicka potion.

P.S.: once i am off for the week and a half i am giving my lead over mages to Maxx, so there wont come to strange inactivity of mages. at that part Dreyns will fall into sewers under the city (due to poor construction mwahaha) and he will get lost in the dark for three days in the sewers, afterwards a day and night of returning to base, as he comes to base rehabilitating and than i will be myself able to come RP. Apologies for the troubleshooting. (bluescreens :P )

Sounds good man and if you like he can fall into the sewers during the attack on the prison. Anyways I will let you know how long he is lost and what not since well in game time may be different then irl time lol.

well i have the job of protecting the non combat troops so should i stay back until the main fighting is over then move in as our troops are still holding the bridge

I will post this soon, but this is step by step of how things are suppose to go though everyone has leeway and can say maybe something gets messed up or anything like that just make sure the fight stays within the prison or at the prisons gates.

1. Main force scales both sides of the large hill one commander with each force both forces throw bottles of black tar on the walls and let mages set them ablaze

2.Main assault fore storms the bridge and tries to turn back any troops on it a small battle breaks out and some of the men on the walls begin to shoot down and call out for back up to other soldiers and guards with in the prisons

3. Archers and Mages are free to shoot fire in a volley onto and over the wall trying to provide cover for the soldiers now trying to break down the gate

4. The defensive force (Bjorn) will be called to move forward since they have some of the more strong and hardy people and will bring one of the battering rams we have and break down the gate.

5. A small skirmish continues in the prison but very obviously they are outnumbered so we have very few losses though quite a few injuries and about half the guards surrender

thats just a rough sketch and we can change it up when we make the post
