About Birds Of Prey PC/XBOX
Main Guild Ranking System Code of conduct
GUILD LORE:

At the start of the Aldmeri Dominion, we began our order. Our purpose to prey on those who prey on others. A beacon of light for those who seek redemption through battle. A sigil of hope to those who were lost. A force for reason and goodness. Those who seek to destroy our allies and kinships will not succeed in their endeavors. For we, Like a flock of birds, will soar to their aid and protect our homelands.

Our loyalty is never questioned, Bravery unwavering, Our Cause is righteous.

We will bring peace to our homes, our countries, to all of Tamriel. With the combined forces of -

The Bosmer from the thick, near-impenetrable forests of Valenwood,They are supreme hunters, guides, and masters in sneaking and thievery. They are also the most gifted archers in all of Tamriel.

The Khajiit a proud feline race, with their fearsome warriors, and proficiency with bladed weapons. They stand proudly at the forefront of every battle.

The Altmer were the original settlers of Tamriel and created the common tongue used throughout the continent today. They are also naturally proficient with magic.

We will take Cyrodiil, the Imperial City, and the throne of Tamriel.

Our Leader will lead us to this victory. Before this war he fought in many battles, during one invasion he charged head first into a ship armed to the teeth with soldiers. The ship caught a blaze from a frantic dark elves mage. Leader lost much of the hand full of Altmers who followed him into that ship. We also that we had lost our Leader it wasn't until several hours later, when the moon was in the middle of the night sky that we could see him walking the ground beneath his feet burning with each step he took closer to us. It was at the time we knew that he was more then just a leader we was like the Mythical Legendary Bird of Fire. He was a Phoenix and a true BIRD of PREY!

Ranking System

Phoenix
The phoenix is the main leadership position of the guild. if this was education, the phoenix would be like a district superintendent. The Phoenix stewards the core valuves of Birds of Prey promoting creativity, curiosity, collaboration, and courage. It is a political, social, and emotional position.

Eagles
Phoenix responsibilities can't be done alone, and the title (sadly) can't be shared. Eagles represent the members of the guild who is the second in command. Eagles, in direct consultation with the Phoenix, work to provide leadership and promote community development.

Owls
Owls are members that are very active guild members who work toward guild recruitment and planning guild activities. These are dedicated players who have volunteered their assistance with managing guild activities and relations. As such, diplomacy skills must be adequate enough to foster the needs of a healthy community.

An Owl member is a person to go for our guild members to discuss matters that concern them, allowing for private discussions that can be brought to the attention of the Phoenix and Eagles if needed. The Owls work to resolve issues in a positive, collaborative and effective manner.

The Owls also can setup instance runs for guild members, plan groups and organize raids. The Owl may also assist members in acquiring weapons and armor so they are properly equipped. If a member/members need a specific instance done in the future, they should get in touch with an Owl. Planning ahead is the best, and even the officers need to have fun and enjoy the game.

Falcons
Falcons are members who have dedicated themselves to the betterment of the guild and shown a willingness to participate constructively will be promoted to Falcon.

Hawks
Hawks form one of two bases of our members. They share the same goal of Aldmeri Dominion's protection from the unforeseen forces that plague it daily. Becoming a Hawk relies heavily on guild interaction and participation, and requires a two month waiting process as an Harrier before moving up.

Harriers
Harriers form the final bases of our member. They also share the same goal of Aldmeri Dominion's protection from the unforeseen forces that plague it daily. Becoming a Harrier is relies on a more moderate interaction and participation, and requires a 2 week waiting process as an Osprey before promotion.

Ospreies
The lowest rank, but still one of the most important, in this rank, their overall participation with other members will be monitored to ensure that they have no malicious intent, and that they get along with everyone. Osprey have no obligation to stay with us, and can leave at anytime they wish.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Special Condition Ranks

Ravens

This rank is reserved for member that have applied for the title of raven. Ravens are seen as Elite Members of the guild and are giving power that equal to Owls without the management skills needed for that title. They are also considered to be the HAVOC and reconnaissance element of our guild. These players are extremely skilled in Player vs Player type of play styles. Ravens are above all where the true Elite players straved to be. There are no restriction to whom may apply, but please note the more rank and time you have place into the guild will improve your odds of being approved.

Vultures
Vultures are members that after a month of inactivity, will be demoted too. From there, they will be able to upgradeed back to the Harrier rank, and will have to go through the promotion process all over a gain. To avoid this, please leave a member of leadership a heads up, if possible, if you know that you may be gone for an extended period of time. Emergencies will be excused. In addition, problem member will be moved to this rank, and will be taken off at the discretion of the officers.
The Code of Conduct for Birds of Prey

Birds of Prey is meant to be a learning/competitive guild. In order to maintain a culture and climate that supports learning, friendships, competition it is necessary to provide some general rules and guideline for engagement within the guild structure. This is always an evolving document, so you thoughts and feed backs are appreciated.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Communication

No group can work well together without good communication. Please be sure to let others in the guild know when you need help. In all collaborative groups there are times when questions or concerns may arise. Please do not hesitate to voice you concerns at any time; all guild members should be respectful and productive with their contributions to conversations any issues should be brought to the attention of guild officers as early as possible. Officers are there to help facilitate conversations and solutions! Please never hesitate to speak with guild officers - either real time ( in private chat if warranted) or by sending in-game or website mail.

Chat Etiquette

Birds of Prey is an adult guild. As such conversations in guild chat often reflect that. Although the majority of the guild is involved in educated discussions, in-game are sometimes not game related.

Voice Etiquette

This voice option allows people to control when the come in and other of voice, no one owns "The Calling" you don't need to know all the user names of all the guild member, there is a push to talk option. we can host up to ## people, the list of positives goes on and on.

Guild Bank

The guild bank is the resource provided for the guild to share materials, gear, food, and other items. players are limited in number of items per day they may withdraw by rank. Please also consider sharing items that you loot, create, acquire by placing them in an appropriate place in the bank. ( Notice we attempt to keep it organized). Note: Please do not put low quality items in the guild bank. Please note that once you place something in the guild bank it belong to the guild community and it's available for anyone in the guild who has access to take/use.

Only the Phoenix or their designee should remove things or "weed" from the bank to sell off, The money gained from this will be placed back into the guild bank.

Working Outside the Guild

There are tunes we all need to work outside the guild, on group quest, in PUG's, and in trading. Birds of Prey is a guild of respectful players and as such needs to maintain a reputation as fair, honorable players in the game. Please consider that you represent Bird of Prey in all aspect of what you do in the game.

The LGA

Birds of Prey has joined a "Large Guild Alliance" or LGA with other guilds. In order to be able to run the larger player content and perform better movements in the Open World Player vs Player. It is necessary to find a few more like minded guild to align with.

Leaving the Guild

We understand that not all players are fit for Birds of Prey and some may have goals in the game that Birds of Prey is either unable or unwilling to support. Leaving the guild to accomplish goals in the game that BoP is not capable of helping with is understood. However, joining another guild temporarily to run high end game content only to come back to Birds of Prey is seen by other in negative light. Birds of Prey believes in second chances when appropriate, but not thirds and fouth chances. If you are considering leaving the guild, please talk to an officer to discuss your reasons and goals in the game. Re-joining the guild will be left to the discretion of the eofficers. NOTE: It is not appropriate to empty the guild bank of items just prior to leaving guild.

Skills and Resources

We all work hard in game to acquire resources and develop our skills. These can often benefit other players and can command high prices in game. Birds of Prey members work together to share their skills and often materials as well. We do not charge each other for skills. However, either compensation or assistance in gathering materials is highly appreciated and recommended.

Calendar and Scheduling

The calendar will be used to schedule events. Events include but are not limited to group quests, instances, raids, achievements, guild meetings. workshops, AND social gatherings. Guild members are encouraged and even expected to participate in events. All eligible players will be giving invite to any event that is considered closed. Please adhere to scheduled times. When an event is scheduled to begin at 7 PM server time, party members are expecting to begin the instance as close to published time as possible. Please be considerate of this and factor in your travel and prep time when logging in.

Loot Rules

Our loot rules are simple. Group loot is set standard to "group loot" with roll for rare drops. Greed anything you like. You must however ask a group to click need. Do not "need" an item that is not an uprgade for something you are currently using. Every once in a while in game you come across chests or crates of items. When in a group it is appropriate to use /roll to determine who will loot the chest/crate. Disenchanting: sometimes the materials acquired from disenchanting an item are worth more to the players in a group than the item itself. If there is a disenchanter in the group and all members agree, the DE can need the item and all members /roll on the mats created.

Stu, Shadow warrior

You have an option to join multiple guilds representing one guild once ESO launches similar to guild wars2. What im asking for is atleast one of your guild member has to join us NOT representing our guild so I have a contact in your guild. do we have a better understanding now?.................

We cannot enter into alliances until we are acquainted with the designs of our neighbors. If your guild thinks that we are showing lack of good judgement (E.G Stupib Idea ) then so be it have a good day then sir/ma'am. Thank you for your time.

Very Resectfully,

Have you thought about having a platoon of were-vultures in your guild (if they're implemented in the game), it ties in with the whole Birds Of Prey theme?

Sir,

I love this post. If this was ever implemented this would be in one of our guild events. If transformation potions or skills are in game then it will be definitely in one of our Role play PVP events.

Werevultures are a type of Lycanthrope extant in Tamriel. They are known to exist only in the province of Valenwood.

DUN DUN DUN (Climactic drum rolls) Werevultures exlucsively for Bosmers since werevultures come from valenwood so I don't see any conflict as far as rank structure goes. :D
