We all have that one account where we go around and kill chickens for fun, how would we possibly address the problem of the common bounty? Would we have our own team of players have to hunt these people down once they come to the point of being able to take on an entire town of NPC guards? Could we hold a payment for any player able to take them down or have the option to take them in? I personally think it will become a pain as soon as we start tripping over the bodies of the guards.

and for those who have never killed a chicken... don't do it... them nords are overprotective of their cattle...

Originally it was the plan, but from the information we got from the PAX east. It will be potentially possible to rob NPC houses for minor loot later on, you can also assault their livestock, potentially getting yourself a bounty.

As for Thieves guild & the Dark Brotherhood. They should be in the game, just most likely NOT by launch. This means that they will be either post-launch content or later on left out completely. But we should have potential to do minor crimes. However assaulting friendly NPC's or players is forbidden.

I see it kinda like if a player gets a bounty from committing a crime, if they are killed in pvp or beaten in a duel the one who beats them gets extra rewards for doing so

Edit: but that would just be an in-system thing. Players giving out bounties on each other would be quite interesting

It was an absolute blast in in my SWG days, there is nothing more exciting than tracking and finding your bounty and then when they least expect it, jump them and collect the 1 million credit bounty..... I would have done it for free, just the hunt was worth it.

Even if the game does not actually make a bounty system, with the three-faction pvp and dynamic battles, I'm sure there will be bounties placed on players, even in te form of: "Ok, that player is wrecking us, 1000 gold to whoever brings him down. We need him out of this fight to take this keep!"
