About Brotherhood of Redemption
Main Guild Charter Guild Rules
Well Met, Friends! Brotherhood of Redemption is an Elder Scrolls Online guild who holds strong to the virtues of Honor, Integrity, Compassion, and Respect; upholding the values of all that is good in Tamriel. We are currently recruiting PC/Mac players of any race or class for the Daggerfall Covenant faction.

Why should you be interested in joining the BoR? We are a moderate, mature guild partaking in PvE, exploration, crafting, AvA PvP battles, light RP, and social activities. We originated as a gaming clan more than fifteen years ago, and have a branch in DDO that remains active after eight years. Our ESO guild has more than 400 great members but still has that small guild personality.

We have been holding events to explore the world and enjoy quests and AvA as a group, along with special events such as horse races. We hail from all of the US time zones as well as from overseas, and are looking for mature members who appreciate our values and plan to stick around in ESO for years to come, as we anticipate having a presence in ESO and its community for a long time. Our members range from low level all the way up to the Veteran Rank cap.

We have a formal Events Committee, and something on the calendar almost every night. In addition to the formal committee, members are welcome to schedule events and put them on the guild calendar. ALL EVENTS ARE OPTIONAL!

Some Scheduled Activities Include:

AVA runs twice weekly (These are our formal guild runs. Many members are in AVA daily.)
Trials Runs
Dungeon Runs several times per week (All levels welcome. We break everyone into level appropriate groups)
Cyrodill Questing (All levels welcome)
Skyshard and Dolman runs, Public Dungeon Runs
Special events, including Scavenger Hunts, Triathlons, Horse Races, and Fishing Derbys

Some Benefits of BOR Membership Include:

Warm, supportive gaming community, consisting of a diverse set of players. Many of us have multiple veteran rank characters, while others are just starting out. Some are serious theory crafters, while others enjoy just experimenting. Many of us have been serious raiders in previous games, while others are playing an MMO for the first time. We have a female presence both in the guild membership and the guild leadership, and women gamers will find a supportive environment. We are a 24-hour gaming community, with members from all over the US, a growing Australian membership, and a handful of folks from other time zones.

Strong crafting community, available to help you get the traits you need to research, and help you out with gear or enchantments or food or potions.
Full access to the guild bank. (After 14-day probationary period.)
Quartermaster – who collects and distributes special items for guild member use
Two Guild Kiosks to sell your wares in.
We welcome new members, whether you are looking for end-game activites, or just starting your first character.

We fight for the Daggerfall Covenant faction on the North American PC/Mac Megaserver, but welcome English-speaking members from all countries. In addition to our comprehensive website, we also have two dedicated TeamSpeak 3 servers with capacity for 512 members each, and we hold gatherings in them frequently.

If you are interested in seeing if the BoR will be a good fit for you, please read the Introductions thread in the Public Chat forum to get to know our members better.

Hope to meet you soon!
Be it known to all that The Brotherhood of Redemption holds true to ever protect the virtues of goodness, honour and respect amoungst those who deserve. But woe be those who find value in the slaughter of innocent, theft of person or property, or any other form of inherent evil against another!

Adventurers to the core of their being, those within the halls of the Brotherhood are led by the Council. The Council seeks only to stand in the name of the clan to outside bodies and o’ersee the operations of the Brotherhood’s daily tasks. All brethren hold voice in any decision of circumstance facing the clan. A family be this Brotherhood and always shall it stand proud.
The Brotherhood subscribes to the philosophy of do unto others that you would have done to yourself. All brethren are expected to conduct themselves in a manner which shines respectfully upon the Brotherhood. To that end, the following Rules of Conduct must be adhered to by all members of the Brotherhood while in-game, or on this or other game related websites:

1. Please treat everyone respectfully, regardless of difference in style of play, race, gender, political or religious beliefs, sexual preference, country of origin, server, Alliance, or Guild affiliation. Remember our Virtues of Honor, Respect, Compassion, Humility, and Valor in your actions and words.

2. We request that you type or speak clearly in English, and also be able to clearly understand both spoken and typewritten English. We prefer members to use the voice chat system when in groups if conditions at home permit. Our play style is such that it is easier to communicate via voice than typing, and it is preferred by the guild as a whole. And please...no shortcut typing or cursing.

3. Treasure belongs to you as the finder, it is yours to do with as you wish. If you do not want the loot nor the coin from selling it, the guild will have a treasury in place to aid the brethren within its halls. Donating unwanted items or coin to the guild will greatly be appreciated, but never required.

4. Guild events and meetings will be announced on our website, and are always optional. Real life always takes precedence and no one shall be penalized in any fashion for failure to attend any event. Be welcome amongst us when you can!

5. Anyone who desires to join our guild will undergo one 14-day probationary period either during open beta or during public release. During this trial, a representative of the Elder Council will quest with them in game to become better acquainted with them and ensure that the Guild is a good fit for the member and vice-versa. Members agree to be available for these quests at reasonable times during the probationary period. If either the new member or the Elder Council feels the arrangement if not a good fit during the probationary period, both sides agree to part ways amicably. If a person transfers from another chapter of the guild this rule does not apply; their acceptance it guaranteed by recognition.

6. Any member with an ongoing issue with another person must immediately bring the problem to an Elder Council member. Real life issues with players (such as somebody owing another member money) shall not be brought into the game or website.

7. An honorable guild must maintain honorable play. In this light, any brethren found using exploits or third party auto leveling software, hacking or selling accounts, revealing others passwords, or otherwise breaking the Zenimax Code of Conduct may be punished or expelled from the Brotherhood after a review by the Elder Council. This restriction does not apply to crafting or leveling planners, puzzle trainers, or accidental or involuntary use of software.

8. Any member suspected of violation of the rules may receive instant punishments from any Elder Council member that can vary based upon severity up to a 3-day temporary suspension, until the Elder Council can review the violation. Any punishments may be renewed if the member has not been reasonably available to discuss the event with the Elder Council.

9. Due to the ESO guild size limitations, we must implement attendance requirements. Every member must logon to ESO in-game at least once every 90 days, or they could be removed at Elder Council discretion should the guild fill to capacity and another applicant be approved to join the Guild. For those who expect to have a deployment, sabbatical, or other lengthy absence of more than 90 days, all that is required is to post on the AFK thread in regards to such and you will be retained. For absences shorter than 90 days, posting on the thread is encouraged, but not required.

Greetings Adventurers,

Allow me to enlighten you about a guild in the Daggerfall Covenant. The Brotherhood of Redemption!! We are a very merry and respectful lot. We like to have events planned that all of our members can participate in from the novice explorer to the most experienced adventurer. We have a great Elder Council, that I am a member of, to help lead our guild to victory an all aspects of the war. Weather you enjoy exploring the land or fighting on the front lines of the war you will always find a fellow member willing to fight alongside you. There are not many requirements to being allowed entrance into the brotherhood. You must have a mature and respectful attitude, be of at least your 17th year of birth, have a way of speaking on the 3rd incarnation of teamspeak, and, Obviously, Fight for the Daggerfall Covenant. If you think that you have what it takes to join a guild that likes to treat you as one of the family then by all means come visit our guild hall and file an application to join. We are always looking for quality members as opposed to quantity.

What a fun day we had!!!!! We ran 2 training Trials and got completions!!! Then we topped it off with a 50/50 Raffle (A whopping $210,000 each) followed by a very fun and profitable Auction. Bidding was a hoot and people walked away with awesome loot and spectacular deals!!! I will let Nightyme list the details of the take but I want to thank Night and Wonmo for putting together such a dynamite event which was really hard work. You guys are the bestest. So helpful in funding our guildstore.
