What classes would YOU create? What would be your skills, What's the name of your class, what race is this class for? If you picked a default class, which class was it, what were its skills? What was your favorite ritual stone? Why?

This thread is dedicated to classes and birth signs (Standing or Mundus Stones) and the publics ideas and thoughts on them.

Since classes are confirmed for TESO and player made classes as far as we know won't make it into the game, I've moved the thread to The Blend.

It fits nicely to all TES games. The Yes or No question in regards of custom classes has been answered with a NO already. It makes much more sense here.

Ok, the poll now just asks wether you like custom classes or not, but you would not have gained any other insight in TESO Gen and all of your questions can be answered wether you played Morrowind, Oblivion or Daggerfall, since those actually have custom classes.

Well. Yess kinda. Kinda yess ish.

The thing is that, dispite me not playing munchkins in TES. Mostly a good class gets you so much crap skills you dont need. For example the Barbarian in Morrowind gives you two armor and two weapon types. chances are thats not going anywhere. Also everything that gives you athletics and acrobatics might actually make the game harder for you, especialy in Oblivion.

So yeah i have a tendency of creating my own classes to avoid pitfalls like this.

Also from time to time i like to try out new things. Only to figure out they dont work. Like playing blunt one handet weapons in morrowind. I know there is that ONE good weapon. Same with medium armor, but you end up beeing realy crappy for most of the game.

Or playing a shieldmage in Skyrim. it just does not work. At least not in a way as smooth as i want it to be. Generaly a mage warrior is not realy an option in Skyrim wihtout alot of swtiching around. That actually worked better in Oblivion as funny as that might sound.

Thats one thing that I don't like about Skyrim. I'm playing an Altmer Spellsword, Skills: Illusion, Alteration, Restoration, Enchanting, One-Handed, and Light Armor. Thing I hate is even though the duel-wielding aspect of Skyrim is great, you have to CONSTANTLY switch in and out of the favorites menu (I'm playing on 360 by the way). Oblivion's spell system was actually better in a lot of ways. You could have a sword and shield equipped and still be able to cast spells, without having to constantly pause the game, just to pick a different spell.

I like custom classes. I play a khajiit thief by default since this suits their talents so well, but the character I often play, Khagiinet, was made by my hubby & sister Ginny for her to play in Morrowind while she visited us. I have kept Khagiinet up through Oblivion & Skyrim - but my sis likes a more honorable class than a thief so Khagiinet has been an explorer at times and a cartographer.

TESO - - Multiplayer: "M'aiq does not know this word. You wish others to help you in your quest? Coward! If you must, search for the Argonian Im-Leet, or perhaps the big Nord, Rolf the Uber. They will certainly wish to join you." M'aiq the Liar.

"Va Khaj Dar - Khajiity's united? M'aiq will join!" M'aiq the Liar
