Garce came down to greet the group. He looked awful. He didn't get a wink of peaceful sleep, he could taste blood in his mouth from where he has bit his tongue.
Garce grabbed another pink vial and with shaken hands he raised it to his lips and drank.
"Sorry I'm late" his words were slurred "had troubl..." he paused, Garce didn't want to tell them 'he had trouble sleeping' nor did he want to tell them the truth behind it "I had to write a letter, to my order. I hope you all can forgive me"

Dlesyddion looked at the witchhunter joining them. He looked even more tired then he felt himself. Dlesyddion understood the importance of witchhunting: Somebody had to do something against the usage of foul magic and the abuse of daedric artefacts. Maybe his fate wouldn´t be as dark as it... Dlesyddion shook off that thought. He just didn´t understand why anybody was picking the job of a witchhunter at free will.

He turned to the dog owner.

"Good to hear that. I hope you won´t bite if I ask for your name."

Dlesyddion didn´t had interest in the Dunmera beyond acquiring enough information to assess her. And her name would be useful to know if they were going on this escort together.

After the Dunmera´s answer Dlesyddion looked at the Nord and the Dunmer, then at the carts. He sighed. There wasn´t enough space to sit for everybody. With his luck he would probably have to walk to Ebonheart. But then he thought... Why not let all the Nord walk? and took a seat on the right side of one of the wagons.

Maleus was glad to see the other witch hunter had arrived thinking 'If a necromancer or vampire attacks us, at least I won't be alone in my animosity towards it and maybe I'd learn something of the craft as well.'

Maleus counted the seats on the side of the carts and counted the dunmer guards, two seats were left and three guards and a Nord we're left. The other witch hunter didn't look like he was in any condition to walk to Ebonheart. 'To much sujamma, skooma?.' Maleus thought and decided it would be best if he took a position other than a seat.

"Once we get going, I think I'll follow along beside the road taking cover from sight where I can. I'll keep an eye on the caravan from medium range and let fly some arrows where needed, if that's alright." Maleus said, quite fond of the strategy his father had taught his on one trip to Mournhold from Necrom. He wished he had done that the trip his father was killed, but that was long ago.

Draskil glanced over toward Maleus and nodded, "If it is even needed, it will be appreciated, though the further you are away, the less quickly we can find you if you happen to end up the one in trouble," he said, grabbing onto the side of the wagon as the Nords finished loading up, seated rather well on the side of the front wagon.

Jarvik nodded to Maleus as well, "Good hunting, then. Let one of my boys know if you want to rest your feet at some point. We'll be riding through the night tonight and setting up camp mid-day tomorrow." The Nord glanced around to everyone as he stepped up onto the front of the first wagon to take the reins, "Right then, let's get this group on the road. Ebonheart, here we come!" He snapped the reins lightly as soon as everyone signaled they were ready to go and the wagons set off at a reasonable pace, making it easy to keep up by walking if one so chose. Blackforge was leading the wagons along at this deliberately slow pace because of how heavy the wagon loads were on the horses.

Aro held on to the wagon as the horses pulled it into a steady roll across solid ground. Once they were at a steady pace, she relaxed her grip on the framework and let her eyes wander the procession. She examined the two wagons behind her from this distance, glancing at the horses, and then to the other dunmer who had joined them. Her eyes were a bit less harsh than before, though her presence was just as rigid. "This trip's definitely going to take a while," she clearly spoke to no one in particular, and leaned her head back against the wagon.

As she walked towards one of the carts she turned to Dlesyddion, "Miasmador. And yours? I didn't quite catch it, if you said it in the tavern." She waited beside the wagon, she would walk, all the quicker if they were attacked.

The potion worked! the call of the hunt was muffled. But the side effects were kicking in. Garce found it hard to focus. Garce was a prideful fool of a Dunmer. He chose not to take a seat because he felt it would show a sign of weakness to the others. He put on his helm so the others wouldn't notice his tired face.

"Dlesyddion."

He answered to Miasmador. Assuming she didn´t care for titles or surnames - probably having nothing such her own - Dlesyddion just gave her his first name. Straight character. Not easy to convince of things she didn´t wanted to do... what was he planning for, again? This was just an escort mission. He wouldn´t be forced to actually fight for his life, and nothing would shatter the group, leaving him faced with the wilderness or overwhelming enemy, so he didn´t need to search for a body guard... atleast not now. He shook off the thought.

He watched Garce and Miasmador waiting beside the carts with his sad and tired eyes.

"Don´t you want to take a seat? Not that it would be my concerns... but before you have to walk all the way..."

Maleus headed to the left side of the path at a jogging pace he knew he could keep up for a while. As he reached a fair distance, about thirty feet (or roughly 9 meters) off the trail he started following parallel to the caravan. The terrain ahead through the Deshaan Plains was flat with few hills and the road seemed smooth enough. For Maleus there was little cover a few tree or a shrub patch here and there, but the three cart caravan would be the first thing to catch any on-looker's eye, especially if they approached the caravan from the north east.

As he followed along he suspected he was missing out on some conversation, which suited him fine. As far as Maleus was concerned pleasantries were useful for gathering information and little else.

As the caravan rolled on that day, the nords had an easy air about them that said they were used to this sort of experience. Jarvik guided the wagons along the main roads, keeping down the center unless they encountered another wagon, then moving off to the side when it was needed. It had grown relatively dark before Jarvik glanced back and hollered, "Anyone need a rest before we continue on? Switch seating if you feel the urge to."

Draskil stood at that point, not caring if one of the nords or other mer took his spot or not. The wagons had been moving slowly enough that he did not need to signal for a stop, and he kept up the pace as he moved over to check on Aro and the others. A brief head count as he nodded to everyone he saw.

Aro carelessly dozed for the majority of the ride while the sun was up. The gentle rolling of the wagon down the road lulled her into a sleepy state more than once, and more than once she succumbed to it, despite her attempts to resist. The occasional rock or dip in the ground would jar her awake, and she would remain that way for a while.

As the moons began to rise in the darkening sky, Aro found herself to be staying awake for longer, having gotten more than enough rest. The sound of Jarvik's loud voice rung clearly in her ears, but she would not answer him. Her eyes instead wandered to the other mer to see what their current positions were. Earlier, one had gone jogging off to follow a parallel road, and she looked to see if he hadn't gotten eaten by anything. But Draskil came into her vision before she could find her own answer to that curiosity. Upon looking at the dwemer-clad mer, she regarded him with a silent glance, and then went about scoping the area before her to look for any sign of threat.

She trudged along beside the cart most of the day. As the sun rose in the sky she had to shake herself to keep from falling asleep, and when the moon rose, she found unable to stay awake. After an hours solid sleep she woke up, bright and ready again. She jumped of the seat and drew her sword, incase anything crept up on her. She knew Wolf, who had been faithfully trotting along beside her, would warn them, but she hated not taking the necessary precautions.

The Moons greeted Garce and gave him energy. His blood started to boil with in him but the lust for the hunt was repressed ... for now. Garce took off his helm and let the breeze kiss his face, he looked better now. Not as tired looking as before but his face was still a sick stony colour.

"Be wary friends. The night comes with dangers, be on guard" he informed the group and placed his hand on the hilt of his sword

Viewing the landscape of Morrowind the whole day, watching trees and mushrooms growing at the horizon and passing by, Dlesyddion started to doze of. Screw danger!, he thought. He wasn´t the only one hired to watch the carts. In the worst case he would be waked. So he allowed himself to close his eyes, leaning to the side off the wagon.

Soon he found himself in Vaermina´s realms again...

Maleus had been walking closer to the cart as night began to fall. He wanted to keep it within his dimming view. Soon his legs began to tire from the walking and with a yawn he finally approached the slow moving caravan and quietly took an open seat at the side. He would stay awake looking up at the stars, the serpent had grown so large in the past few years. It dominated the night sky. Maleus Was still able to spot the Atronach, his own birth sign in the sky.

With a bump on the road Maleus snapped out of his stargazing and glanced around. There was little to see that he hadn't seen all day this trip. Maleus let out another yawn changing his view to look ahead as the journey continued at a scrib's pace.
