Name: Cunelan
Known as: Cunelan the Wylding
Race: Bosmer
Sex: Male
Age: Born 2E 371
Birthsign: The Steed
Religious Views: Cunelan worships Y’ffre, Baan Dar, and Arkay. These are gods he feels some connection to, Y’ffre for the Green Pact, which he upholds, and Baan Dar as patron of the lone wolf. It should be noted that Cunelan does eat the flesh of his fallen foes. Cunelan also worships Arkay as he believes strongly in the cycles of the world, life and death.
Political Views: Politics is the foolishness of society, and Cunelan prefers the wilds. However, if pressed, he supports the Dominion.
Occupation: Itinerant Hunter, Adventurer

Appearance: Cunelan shares the tan skin and amber eyes of all his people. He wears pale red hair loose down his back and has cultivated a something of beard along his narrow, pointed jawline. He has narrow merish features, clear cheekbones and a slightly hooked nose. Dark war paint encloses his eyes and a line sweeps down past the temple and into the cheek. His build is lithe and slender, though with a sinewy strength despite his advancing age. He is of average height.

Equipment: Cunelan carries a tall wooden walking staff, knotted and twisted. He also carries a simple iron knife for skinning animals, cutting herbs and preparing and eating food. He wears a mixture of furs, hides and cloth. His boots are wolf skin footwraps, his trews are soft pale deerskin. A sleeveless, rough leather shirt, open nearly to the waist, is secured with a wide foxskin belt riddled with pouches and straps that contain vials and reagents. He wears mixed skeever and wolfskin bracers and fingerless cloth cloves. His fingers have a few rings, Iron and Glass bands are on his right hand, Bone and Ebony are worn on the right. Other jewellery includes arm rings of leather on his biceps decorated with swirling patterns and running animals. He also wears a chunk of amber around his neck on a leather cord. Finally, he wears hooded a bearskin mantle across his shoulders over a long brown cloak with many small pockets and straps for pouches sewn inside.

Personality: Cunelan is joyful and wondrous when it comes to the beauty of nature, scornful and short tempered when it comes to the works of society and man, mer or beastfolk. Cunelan dislikes useless, dependant people, cowards and anyone else he considers weak. This includes most city dwellers. However, if you prove yourself skilled, resourceful or clever he will frequently show admiration and respect, especially if you have mastered a skill he has not. Never appears surprise, but he does profess to love being surprised. Battle, conflict and competition are the way of the wilds, and his way. They are required for personal growth and development, those who avoid it will never move beyond their weakness.

Skills: Cunelan has magical talent in Conjuration, Alteration and Restoration. He specializes in conjuring bound spear and bow, he is a fine shot while also quick and vicious in melee combat. Cunelan can also fight with his staff, though not as effectively, and his is not overly familiar with normal weapons. He uses Alteration and Restoration to defend and heal himself, and most often conjures a wolf familiar in battle. Cunelan is also well versed in Alchemy. He can also move silently and avoid detection, especially in woodland.

Background:

Cunelan was born in Valenwood, the son of a tribal healer and a hunter. He was raised in both these disciplines, learning and eclectic collection of healing and practical spells like Muffle and Water Breathing. He was also taught to respect the forest, to use its bounty in potions and salves.

He hunted with his tribe, lived among his people for the first fifty years of his life, and lived in the traditional Bosmeri manner. However, in 430s after the fall of the Second Empire he and his tribe came under attack from the Colovian Imperials to the north. Back and forth raids erupted, and Cunelan fought with his people against the Colovians. Ultimately, they were forced to retreat further into the forests, but Cunelan joined a group of warriors who were determined to carry the fight to the enemies of the Bosmer. It was from a mage among them he first learned Conjuration, and also continued to learn healing and protection magic’s from the schools of Alteration and Restoration. They fought the Imperials, the Khajiit, and the Maromer for some years. Cunelan does not hold a grudge against these peoples, fighting is the way of the wild, conflict allowed him to grow.

When the fighting at the end of the fall of the empire subsided, he left Valenwood and wandered the wilds of Tamriel, living off the land, abiding by the Green Pact and mastering his talents, magical and practical. In his wanderings he travelled across the world, finding with horror the wastelands of northern Elsweyr, Morrowind and the deserts of Hammerfell, but joy in the jungles of southern Elsweyr and the forests of southern Skyrim. Never one to settle down and simply live, he can often be found adventuring in forgotten places.

-----------

My final character. If bound weapons aren't in game I shall be irritated, they would be pretty simple to put in and simply apply them like normal weapons of each kind. Anyhow, feedback is appreciated.

I like how Cunelan is a Bosmer, but not just listed as one-- he has distinctive Bosmer traits in his physique, mentality, and mannerisms; so no one can dispute that this is a native Valenwood born wood elf. It has that unique Elder Scrolls sense to it, as opposed to elves of other mediums. His choice of religion, clothing, and philosophy... it all fits flawlessly in the world of Nirn.

I haven't seen or heard anything of possible bound weaponry, but apparently Sorcerers have a bound armor ability. If no bound weapon spell exist, I'm sure it will be simple to remedy it by just acting like your current weapons have been conjured.

Character Profiles:
Endaros Ilmori - Buoyant Armiger
Sunrio - Aldmeri Justiciar

Taren Jucanis - Imperial Deserter (Used for The Black Shroud RP)

Thanks for the feedback. Bizarrely, he was going to be an ashlander and a Dunmer for a long time, and some of his traits are influenced by that, which seemed to fit very neatly in with the Bosmer. I didn't think he should be a 'fantasy' elf, I wanted him barbaric and not just uncivilized, but scornful of the very notion. And he does eat his fallen foes. I should add that in.

I still can't be sure what class each of my characters will be yet, but Cunelan is the most problematic when it comes to that, so we will wait and see.

An interesting and fascinating one, Thorfinn. It's amusing how he is not your standard Dominion proud-mouth. Thumbs up :D
