Normal RP rules along with these Rules:
1. Quality Posts: This means that your posts should be at least two lines, they can be all speech but I would prefer not. If all speech posts are being made to much then I will change this rule.
2. OOC: There is an OOC [Out of Character] thread, as such most questions, comments, concerns, etc. that are not from an IC [In Character] standpoint should be asked there. Certain exceptions apply such as "where is [insert account name here]'s character?" However, THESE MUST BE IN BRACKETS, THESE THINGS []!
3. Actions have consequences, for example if you attack/betray/quit a guild/merchant/anything then there might be a counterattack/manhunt for/on your character(s)('s holdings/ally{ies}).
4. All promotions/demotions must be approved by me and/or someone I have appointed to that task.
5. You can control some NPCs, however certain NPCs and/or certain ranks of NPCs can only be controlled by me and/or those I have appointed to that task.
6. Try not to start anything, escalate anything, and always, I repeat, always treat the other members of this RP with respect, at least in the OOC thread and the IC thread.
7. Should any disputes arise, I have the final say in the decision and consequences.
8. This RP will most likely operate on a "three-strike" model, meaning if you break the rules three times you will be removed from the RP, either permanently or for a period of time.
9. If you do not know the normal RP rules, need some help making (or updating) a (new) character or need a refresher then some great guides can be found here;

Elder Council Assembly
A tall hooded figure stands up and starts to speak, "Ladies, Gentleman, and Gentlemer of the Elder Council, I have a question for you. Have you heard of the brutal murders that have plagued Cyrodiil?" A chorus of yeses is the response. "Do you have any idea of how has committed these murders?" the hooded figure asked again. Different groups shouted different things, "the Pact," or, "the Covenant," or, "the Dominion." The hooded figure shook his head in disagreement, "those are just the people that help the group that is truly responsible thrive, the Dark Brotherhood! I promise, in front of every single one of you that I and my associates will eradicate the Dark Brotherhood! Do you accept my promise?" Another chorus of yeses follows. The hooded figure bows, takes his seat and takes off his hood, revealing an Imperial face with scars all over it.

At one of the entrances to the Elder Council Chambers a dirty guard thinks to himself, 'this is not good. I have to warn the Brotherhood!'
*One Hour Later*
The dirty guard rides away on a black horse, not knowing that he is being followed. After 10 minutes of hard riding he arrives at a grove. "You are being hunted in earnest," he says to a figure in a black robe with a hood on. "By who?" the figure asks. Before the dirty guard can answer he is shot from behind with a crossbow bolt. The hooded figure starts to run to his horse before he too is shot with a crossbow bolt. A few seconds later three soldiers in black cloaks walk over to the grove, see the two figures dead and smile to each other. The one in the middle says to the two others, "I'm going to ride back to the estate, you two watch these bodies. I'll send some others with a cart, I'm sure their heads can be mounted on pikes."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thieve's Guild Headquarters
"You are weak, you are stupid, and you are arrogant, old man," an Argonian says to an Imperial. The Imperial responds, "that may be true. You however will not be taking control of this guild. Leave here now." The Argonian looks around the room, three of his group and five of the Guildmaster's group. With a snarl the Argonian turns around and leaves the room. 'I will take over the guild from that fool soon. Those loyal to me are growing by the day. If I sway those new recruits over to my side, I should finally have enough power,' the Argonian thinks, 'he can't even demote me to Shadowfoot, just stop me from becoming a Doyen.'

Vanevyn Varendes crept along the floor to his target's bed. His current contract, a female Bosmer of thirty-one years, was said to be able to handle herself. For this Vanevyn made sure he made not a sound. He rached his victim, bent down while preparing his teeth. His large canine teeth pierced the woman's neck veins as he drained all the blood in her body. She made noises of suprise and quickly opened her eyes, indicating her awakened state, but to weak to fight back. Vanavyn had not drunken for weeks now. The Bosmer's skin paled to a cream white. Vanevyn then removed his teeth, wiping his mouth clean of the dripping blood. Mission success. No need to hide the body, no one would ever find her in this old isolated cottage. No one except her fourteen year old son, who awoke to see a vampire leeching the life out of his mother. Vanevyn saw the child bosmer. The one who issued the contract. "N-now that the hag's gone, i can finally move to Kvatch, to live with my uncle." Vanevyn grabbed the boys hand, and placed twenty gold coins into it. "A little something for the journey." he said. "Th-thank you sir." the boy replied. "you remind me of when i was about your age. Murderous, and independant." Vanevyn said as he walked outside the door, on his journey to the Imperial City Sanctuary, where he would take a rest, a well deserved one.

Just a few minutes before the sun was rising Emeric arrived in the safe house in Weye. Tonight was a good hunt. My first assassination went smoother than expected. And tomorrow I will get my second contract in Cyrodiil done, but I should rest for now
He went deeper in the house and closed all shutters to blot out the new days sun. In the darkest corner of the bulding, he found what he has been looking for. The coffins his second family has left there for their unholy children.
Emeric closed the eyes. What a cosy little coffin I've got here.

After a few hours of rest, he prepared for his next mission: Killing a bard who travels to Bruma.

Nadene looked out over her land, from a window. The land itself was a relative pittance, when compared to that of the other lords and nobles. Though she should be happy, as it was close to the Valenwood border and relatively warm...though she didn't care much for the sun itself. She wondered why her 'daughter' was, and if she was safe...hopefully.

Jo'kar had heard of this Boiche, named Foriel? Was it? That was somewhere near or in the Imperial city, he was accepting...well looking for, new 'members.' Someone had told Jo' that the Bosmer was a member of the thieves guild, and the guild themselves was recruiting new members...the jobs paid well, and it was relatively 'safe.'

Anrelri looked around the sanctuary, it was rather bleak and unadorned and almost befitted the group of killers that lived here, and called this place home. It was a dark brotherhood sanctuary, and she was a new member. She was both excited and scared, the people here were ruthless and unpredictable.

Octavian's eyes snapped open as the cart he sat in jostled and his teeth pierced his tongue with a sickening crunch. Silently cursing to himself, he spat a huge gob of blood over his shoulder. What he wouldn't give to be face down in a puddle of wine at the local tavern in Chorrol right now instead of being dragged along behind horses which stank like the rear end of an ogre. 'Why'ed they have to choose me of all the sad excuses or a human being?' he thought to himself. It was only a few days prior that a small group of soldiers in black cloaks arrived in town and announced that several "privileged" guards would be re-positioned in The Imperial City. Something about The Elder Council, more security needed, all he could remember was that for some reason they believed he had the aptitude. Must've been his test scores from so many years ago, before all the knowledge he once stored in that head of his was replaced with thoughts of a particular purple beverage.
Gasps of awe and wonder grabbed his attention and he glanced to see where the others were pointing. The White Gold Tower peaked in the distance, glistening in the light of the sun. It was quite the beautiful sight to see before he unlatched the wine-skin from his back and re-emerged into a drunken stupor.

"30,31,32... God you're broke." Lyihna said to the unconscious imperial. She knew the direction she was going in, but she didn't quite grasp the location...
Anxious and excited, Lyihna began to pace back and forth, trying to remember the name of the Bosmer that she heard about. 'What was his name...?' She eventually gave up and began to continue her path on finding the waterfront near the Imperial city.

Foriel started to walk to the Waterfront District. He was currently in the Market District, observing a place where he would break in. The place was called Divine Elegance, and sold mostly clothes and jewelry. The owner, an Imperial named Illga, always closed the shop at about 9:00 and went to a bar for a half-hour to hour after that, locking her doors at about 10:15. This should be an easy break-in. I might even have the recruits help with this break in, Foriel thought.

Foriel arrived at the Waterfront and went to his usual spot, outside the house next to Dareloth's House [Methredhel's House] and waited to see if anyone needed to talk to him.

Hrolwulf Fire-Heart sat in the calm shade of a random shop in the market district to keep away from the sun. He was covered from head to toe in filthy, muddy rags with a hood to hide his vampiric features. He was shaking constantly from skooma withdrawal which also scared away a few passers by. Hrolwulf didn't expect to get any money, yet he persisted to staying outside the richest looking shop in the district. "Spare some coins?" he feebly asked in his usual deep raspy voice to anyone that passed him. As he held out is hand for any donations it shook violently, yet he kept it there, that is his routine. Hold out hand, beg. That's it. He needed no sleep, no food nor any drink. Just money, money for the beautiful nectar worth living for called skooma. This damned drug has taken over Hrolwulf's life, he had all but forgotten about blood. Of course being such an ancient vampire granted him strength but he was no criminal. Hrolwulf has done many criminal things in his two thousand year long existence but no more. He was done with hurting others.

Rethan forced a laugh and threw his head back slamming his empty flagon on the bar pretending the joke his target had told was actually funny. This certainly was a tedious contract.

He had been assigned to kill the local town drunk in the market district so he had camouflaged himself by drinking lots of blood to mask his vampirism and wearing his merchant disguise this time and was currently swapping stories with his target waiting for the opportune time to make the kill. Falling into the man's good graces had been easy. Buying him one flagon of ale had apparently made them warm friends.

At last the drunk finished his seventh mug of ale and was now highly intoxicated and no other patrons seemed to be paying any attention.

Rethan clapped the man on the back. A friendly gesture. But the target's eyes drooped shut and his head slid forward until it hit the table and to most it would seem he passed out drunk which wouldn't be unusual until someone noticed he wasn't breathing which would probably be a few hours.

He got up and rubbed his hands together and smiled to himself. The poisonous touch granted to him by his serpent birthsign made his prefession as an assassin in the Dark Brotherhood so easy he almost felt cheap sometimes.

After tossing a few coins on the counter to pardon his drunken friend he left the tavern and walked back to the sanctuary still wearing his disguise and entered the old abandoned building and walked through the empty cobweb-filled rooms until he happened upon the cellar.

He quickly found the black door that all brotherhood sanctuaries had to keep out intruders and spoke the pass phrase making the door swing open after which the Dunmer vampire entered and quickly changed into his more "casual" attire once he got to his quarters.

Anrelri flinched, she had heard someone entering the sanctuary, which while not uncommon, still made her flinch. She didn't see who...or what it was, but no one had screamed so it was likely a dark brother, or sister.

Jo'Kar was growing impatient, his search was proving practically futile. He had now resorted to searching the waterfront. It was a poor contrast to the gleaming white stone of the Imperial city, but it was 'male do' and couldn't be blamed for its undesirable citizens.

Upon his arrival, Octavian asked the local guard where he could find a pub. They glared at him in contempt and inquired why he wanted to know.
'It seems like I might actually have to work in this city. At the thought Octavian shivered and quickly came up with an excuse.
"I was sent here to root out a notorious bandit chief, and intel tells us that he spends most of his time in the pub. It's my job to ask around and find out what I can, or are you going to get in my way?!"
The guards told him to look in the Market District, so Octavian promptly made his way in the direction they told him to go.
As he entered the tavern he passed by a Dunmer with piercing red eyes leaving at a brisk pace. Octavian found a seat next to an apparent drunk, passed out and down on the table. He was so intoxicated it seemed like he wasn't even breathing. Not an unfamiliar site. Octavian yelled at the bartender and demanded the finest wine he had to offer.

Lurks-In-Shadows wanders about the Waterfront, scanning the people to see if they had any valuables on hand. Of course, none in particular could be seen. He looks around quickly. He was searching for a Wood Elf, by the name of Foriel, to try to join the Thieves' Guild. He has skills suited for the jobs, or at least, he hope he does. He sits by the water, staring into it. He wishes he could swim, but not in city water. He stares into it, sighs, and waits.

Rethan emerged from his room wearing his more casual silvery silken shirt with black velvet pants, hood, and cloak with gold trim and a black cloth mask that covered his entire head plus his black leather boots and gloves and picked up his alchemical supplies and headed for the sanctuary's alchemy area intending to brew some more poisons, those were his real weapons.

Anrelri decided that she should likely try to make herself useful or seem occupied, so she walked to a sackcloth dummy, that had a crudely drawn target on it. Grabbing her bow and a small amount of arrows, she began firing at the target. She managed three direct hits, and one that was slightly to the upper-right...the heart, more or less.

Nadene having grown bored, stood and proceeded to walk about her home. There was quite literally nothing for her to do...at all. All of the mining was farther into Cyrodill, and her land was relatively unadorned...though perhaps the brother hood, or those...thieves had been using the safehouse nearby.

Jo'Kar was practically about to stop his search, he was rather annoyed. However leant next to a seemingly derelict house, was a Bosmer. Walking up to him, Jo' asked in his thick khajiit accent "Khajiit asks, if you know of a Bosmer called Foriel?"

Foriel looked at the Khajiit in front of him, "I am. Are you Jo'Kar?" he said. While he waited for a response he looked around for guards or the other people he was waiting for. I hope these ones listen and that their armor will fit them, they are a little expensive to make, Foriel thought.
