If you were to choose between these two classes, which one would you choose?

Imperials/Bretons were the best Templars in Skyrim. :)

I based my vote on the amazing armor of the Templars and the fact that I hate to fight with two handed weapons. It's a bit superficial I guess, but who matters ? ;)

bretons are best at nothing.

Ill wait till they actually reveal all the classes before i pick.
But im looking at the DK right now.

Also WRONG on the roles.
Both can be tanky. but from what weve seen the DKs skill are alot more tank oriented.
the Templar will most likeley find itself in a healing and offtank role.
stuff like reckless attacks discourages active blocking wich in terms discourages tanking.

while stuff like dragon armor is basically made for a tank.

Not to mention we dont actually know if tanking as such will work.

I know this is a tad off topic - but as I recall there will be no agro-like abilities in TESO, so how will tanking work?

I have tried to find the article mentioning that and afraid I cannot.

Assuming I didn't dream it! this will explain to me why the holy trinity wont be as we are used to with other MMO's -thus making as Zenimax are claiming to make all classes/builds viable - thoughts?

I guess that could be true as Zenimax built the smart npc's that could prevent any single player from agro

Technically the Bretons CAN be best at something, If a player were to do so. Just because the bonuses don't automatically give a natural "talent" to a race, doesn't mean they cannot be "the best" at something.

Hi
I'm not wondering what classes you will be, just if you were to choose between DK and Templar.

You are right, I made a stealth orc in Oblivion and it went amazing well. But we was talking about the race and not about the "hero"

Overall, Bretons are experts at one thing because they are a jack-of-all trades race similar to that of the Dunmer.

Wrong, Dunmer are combat oriented, but i do agree that Breton's is sorts of Jack of All trades, they Are Not "Best" at one thin or somthin, but they can be acceptable at any role. Lets say you want Healer between Breton and Dunmer, Breton would be bather choice, as i said before dunmer are more combat/dps oriented.
