The title says it all, can Nightblades use spells from trees like Illusion or not?

And one more question.

Can you only cast magic what is in yout class? Like if you are Templar, you cannot cast or learn Dragonic Power from DK class?
So you are tied only to Adric spear, restoring light and the third one... Im still not yet sure how this works.

There is no illusion skill tree. NB's have magic abilities in their skill lines, but can also learn magic abilities from other world skill lines and guild skill trees.

Class trees are class exclusive. As it relates to your example, templars are restricted to their class skill lines and can not learn abilities like draconic power from the dk class skills.

But besides class related magic ... There are the basic magic spells that has been in TES so far?. I mean that if you are Templar and you have the class related spells you can learn more, lets say destruction and so on.

There's no magic specific skill lines that we know of. There are destruction spells inside other skill lines you can learn in the world.

If you are a templar with a destro staff you can learn destro magic skills, or if you are in the mage's guild there may be some destrcution type spells but there is no destro tree.

So within Templar class there is destro and resto spells. I assume Aedric spear is destruction, restoring light is restoration and so on...

Nightblades have a spell in which they can become invisible for a second or two. However, some other spells cause magicka damage and have some healing side effects or they can stun the opponent. You can morph skills after they have improved to a specific level and you have to choose between two options, each one gives another bonus.

Nope. First thing you need to do is let go of the previous TES-games based magic system. There are no magic schools, skills are tied to armors, weapons, guilds, world, pvp, class, but not magic schools. I've noticed people still holding on to the fact that they are magic schools, just in different categories, and my god was their vision blurred beyond belief.

I know that, but what i meant with the "resto" and "destro" spells was that you have both healing and damaging spells within the Templar class.

As far as I'm aware, ESO will not have any class locks. As you level up, you'll eventually be able to have everything on all characters. The class you pick will only affect your gameplay with advantages/disadvantages for the early part of the game.

The way I see it, the only reason for picking a certain class will be for the alliance, and the looks of the character.

This is what I've been told from the beta forums, I doubt it'll change, but it was in the beta so you never know.

Cheers.

Yes. :)
Hence I said before that the worst character you can make is a Nightblade with light armour and staff. :) Due to the limitation of having only one class line magic based. Rest are stamina based.

After that even a Sorcerer with 2h weapon and heavy armour, is as good as a Dragonknight with 2h weapon and heavy armour.
