Feel free to give a few suggestions on the matter, if you agree. Personally, I think that we could have special battles arranged, between all 3 factions, all organized through the forum. Not battles to divide us, we shall already be divided enough by our factions, but instead to unite us! With "feasts" and merrymaking afterwards. Perhaps it could be arranged once a year as a "Day of Peace". :)

No problem. It's more of a rhetorical question anyway, I doubt that someone will answer "no". The topic is more about sharing ideas about common events for TESOF members. The poll was actually to show us how 3 factions can be united despite their difference, since all TESOF members would have answered yes. A sign of peace, if you will. :)

I say yes, but it would be hard to do this as we are divided into three factions....

I thought about using TESOF or a programm like Skype to communicate. It's faction could be represented by one of us. So, 3 people can talk in behalf of hundreds that this forum will have become by the time TES:O will be launched. In doing so, we can easily arrange battles, feasts and other events. Unless of course, TES:O will let all 3 factions share one common language, in addition to their native ones. In that case, we'd be able to communicate all together directly in-game. :D

Zenimax already stated that there will be no in game faction interaction. So we couldn't talk in game.

I am the shadow within a shadow. I will accept any job; however I will execute the target, or maybe even the person who hired me; it all depends on who has the most gold to give. Even then you can not trust me to let you walk away with your life.

But the idea of using TESOF &/or Skype for behind the scenes communication and plan arrangements is delicious! Me likey muchly!! Va Khaj Dar will supply the festivity moon sugar (with approval of Do Kosh of course.)

TESO - - Multiplayer: "M'aiq does not know this word. You wish others to help you in your quest? Coward! If you must, search for the Argonian Im-Leet, or perhaps the big Nord, Rolf the Uber. They will certainly wish to join you." M'aiq the Liar.

"Va Khaj Dar - Khajiity's united? M'aiq will join!" M'aiq the Liar

TS3 is probably a better idea than skype, you can coordinate with people in multiple channels. That said, I really hope they come up with something good to make sure the 3 factions will be balanced. I havent read on it much yet though, so may be they have a plan.

Sounds fun.

I always thought blocking factions from understanding each other was stupid. (I am so glad this didn't happen in EverQuest). I mean surely even if they sides would be fighting there would be trade and there is always a common tongue.

I think it is more fun to have languages native to certain races and CHOOSE to speak that language and be able to learn others. I remember sessions in EQ of just sitting there learning languages.. my Erudite was fluent in Elvish and Dwarvish xD

I understand the reasoning to an extent (to prevent cheating pvp issues etc.. but in that case the chat could just be blocked in pvp situations), but I find it sucks a lot of the roleplay aspect out of it.

Absolutely, community here is awesome and we share passion for Elder Scrolls, otherwise we wouldnt be here anyway. With the multi guild feature thing it would be a crime not having our characters in one of the TESOF representing guilds across factions.

But there is plenty of time to sort that out
