Well if your in Raven Rock then its a good idea to do a quest for Glover Mallory and do a quest in the Raven Rock mine that will get you well on your way into Solstheim :D

Ill do that :) do you have any idea about the light armor that's available? My character's more of a light/medium armor player

Ohhh.... Yes then its perfect for you...

Yes there is light and heavy versions of Chitin Armor(Used by the Morag Tong), which I really, really like. Its so EPIC!
As well as The Heavy Bonemold armor worn by the Redoran Guard.
And of course there is the heavy and light versions of the Amazing Stalhrim Armor.

Yeah, Dragonscale is the best light armor there is in a full set its better than full Stalhrim but I never liked what any Dragon armor looks like.

I'd recommend Stahlrim armour, it comes in both light and heavy variants though it's hard to get as random loot and requires the ebony smithing perk. There's a quest to find a very large source of Stahlrim though you need an ancient Nordic pickaxe (which can be obtained through a quest given by Glover Mallory) to harvest and the quest starts in the skaal village (the Dragonborn main quest will take you there and fulfil all requirements to initiate the quest).

As for tips, YOU NEED TO FIND ALL OF THE BLACK BOOKS AND NEW SHOUTS!!!! IT'S NOT AN OPTION!!!

Also the new house is awesome.

Ooh, you didn't have this one yet? Have fun with it!

The only tip I can give really is to be a bit careful with the quest in the barrow (it has several stages and you constantly need to fund the Dunmer who runs the expedition) - make sure you save seperately for every stage. The quest tends to be a bit buggy regarding some objectives showing up or not and certain steps not triggering (if I recall correctly) so make sure you have backups just in case.

Other than that, just enjoy Solstheim :) And fear no tentacles!

@triskele @tookanarrowintheknee lol so many things to do now I don't even know where to start from, but isn't that always the case when it comes to skyrim :P anyway I'm gonna start with the main quest and we'll see where that takes me. If I play about 5 hrs a week, will I finish the dlc before TESO comes out or not?
