Yup, that's definitely a map right there.

Morrowind never left the empire as far as i know, the entire island of Vvardenfell is destroyed (therefor it shouldn't be on the map?) and the Argonians invaded southern Morrowind both in 4E 5-6, which almost cripples Morrowind, but they never left.

I highly recommend USEP wiki to anyone if you want to look up the lore, that's where I learned everything.

well considering how much the imperials cling to skyrim, it makes me wonder. since in the second arnessian war, nobody helped to dunmer. while argonia was an outside force.
Also i remember reading something about them seceding from the empire about the same time as black marsh and elsweyr.

I think you're thinking about how Morrowind was ganked by a nation that had indeed seceded from the Empire, but I don't think it was ever strictly a conquest, so Morrowind remained Empire territory despite all.

Quote:The Dunmer became Imperial citizens and submitted to Imperial occupation and the incursion of Cyrodilic institutions and business interests, but retained formal self-rule, house traditions such as slavery, and religious practices

Short word = Morrowind is allied with the Imperial no matter.

Hm, when you take over the Rift in the Imperial Legion-questline, the guards in Riften will comment on them "finally having a staging / launching point into Morrowind", whatever that means.
