So, I bet everyone just knows this, or someone has asked before, but I could not find it:

How restricted are you in early levels for questing together with friends? Do you have to be the same race? Or just the same faction?
And if you have to be the same race, till what point (which level or anything) is that true? When can you go further than just your own countries borders?

I seem to be able to find that there is something called 50+ and 50++ which should allow you to visit other faction's lands. But I am still not sure about earlier on.

I hope someone can answer me before this weekend's Beta test starts!
Cheers!

You can be any race in the game to be able to play with your friends and you should be on the same faction. But I dont know if there are going to be any special things only one race can do that the others cant ,like say if they only let argonians into certain parts of black marsh, but I dont actually know.

You have to be in the same alliance as your friends to play together (at least until the 50+ you mentioned). All races in the same alliance start in the same place.

They haven't given much information on the 50+ feature. All they've said is that it's kind of like a New Game+ but in a different faction's territory and that you can't see/interact with the other people starting there. What they haven't mentioned is if you can group with people if you're from different alliances if you chose the same area as your first NG+ area. Even that possibility is a little iffy since the way they said wasn't very clear if you chose the order of your NG+ or if the order is based on your original alliance.

It basically boils down to this: If you want to play with a friend, make sure you choose the same alliance.
