Do you enjoy large-scale PvP with a healthy dose of bath salts? Do you walk away from explosions in slow-motion? Are you a strong, independent black woman who don't need no man?

If you answered yes to at least two of those three questions, then you may have just stumbled upon the recruitment page of the best guild you've ever considered thinking about maybe possibly joining.

Contrary to the tone of this recruitment post so far, our burly bunch of war-seasoned veterans and pantsless commandos are actually some of the most mature, skilled, and experienced you will encounter on the battlefront. But you're probably sitting there wondering to yourself as you skim through the plethora of guild recruitment posts on this website that all look the same: What does this guild have to offer you that others don't? Why should any of this matter to you? Why should you even keep reading this post?

Allow me to explain, if you will. Let me go over some of the basics regarding the "who" and "what" we really are.

Eastern Empire [EE] is a guild within the Win Everyday multi-gaming community. Haven't heard of us? That's okay, we're fairly new. We officially formed up in the autumn of 2012, but amongst our ranks you will find veterans from all walks of MMO life. DAoC, Warhammer, Guild Wars 2, Mortal Online, EVE, you name it; if there's any kind of PvP scene, we've been there.

The leaders of [EE] are the same leaders that have been commanding one of the most formidable fighting forces on the Blackgate server in Guild Wars 2: Enigmas of Elan [EE]. You can expect an organized and experienced force on the battlefield; you can expect strict adherence to the chain of command and a no-bullshit, serious-faces-on policy when we're getting down and dirty in Cyrodiil.

Our primary focus once the bulk of our membership has reached the end-game will be on the AvA and overall PvP scene. Until we do achieve a healthy number of 50s within our roster, there will of course be a lot of questing, crafting, dungeon-running, skyshard-hunting, and so forth. Consider us PvX, if you will, until the end-game has been reached. But when that finally happens? You can expect organized AvA raids throughout the week led by commanders who have earned their stripes.

AvA not your cup of tea? That's okay; while it will be the primary end-game focus of our guild, there is of course plenty of other content that we will be immersing ourselves in and there are also plenty of other members who have little interest in that style of gameplay. You are not required to be a die-hard PvP player to be a part of us, and regardless of your playstyle you will find a place within our ranks that suits your needs.

We have our own website which includes forums, a built-in wiki system, a community radio station, a place to host your videos and pictures, and Steam integration.

We handle voice comms via Mumble. Our voice server has its own set of rules which are more tightly enforced during active playtimes. Late night Mumble can get a little freaky sometimes, though. Just as we like it. If you don't, however, then you and your friends are welcome to relocate into your own more-or-less private channels to be left to your own devices.

How's it sounding so far? Still interested? Do I still have your attention? Good. Now I get to tell you about all the legal jargon; the rules we enforce and the behaviour we expect from members within our ranks.

  • Mumble is required in order to join this guild. You do not need a microphone, nor do you need to speak, but since 99% of all important information in AvA and even PvE content is relayed via voice comms, we require that Mumble be installed and used for any organized guild activities.

  • Drama is not tolerated. If you have a problem with another member in the guild, bring it to that individual directly and try to solve it. If that fails or you are uncomfortable with confrontation, bring said problem to a high-ranking officer within the guild and settle things from there.

  • Cheating is not tolerated. UI Addons are okay, but any other third-party assistance such as CheatEngine, MicroMacro, MMOViper, or home-made hacks and SQL injections are unacceptable within our guild and any trace of evidence we uncover to prove that you have been using these cheats will lead to a swift and justified ban from our community.

  • Racism, sexism, or any other form of discrimination is not tolerated. If you feel victimized by somebody in this regard, you must bring it to guild leadership ASAP so it can be dealt with officially. We're all human beings with real lives and real emotions so please respect that certain areas of peoples personal lives are off limits, especially if you do not know somebody well enough to be jeering them. On the same note, people can sometimes get carried away or not mean something the way it came out and we don't want people thinking they can't have fun so if this is a situation you find yourself in, please do take that into account as well. This is a guild that is intended to be open and friendly to all walks of life.

  • Have fun! We're all here to have fun, play the game, hang out, laugh, troll each other mercilessly, and not take anyone seriously together. Just keep all of these things in mind when dealing with each other. It's a game, and even though we have some basic rules set in place we're not intending for you to feel like you need to walk on egg shells. So don't do that. It's just silly.

As a part of the Win Everyday community, Eastern Empire is not just here to fool around for a few months and then disappear into the nothingness. We have a long-term strategy for ESO, regardless of whether or not the game eventually becomes free-to-play and regardless of whether or not sudden changes to the game cause a substantial amount of the population to abandon ship. We like to stick to our guns through the good times and the bad. If a stable (albeit perhaps not mentally all-together) group of folks to game with is what you've been looking for, then your search is now finally over.

Are you unsure about whether or not you will still be playing ESO later on down the road? That's okay; sometimes people just lose their interest in particular games. Maybe ESO turns out to be different from what you expected it to be. Maybe real life gets in the way for a little while and when you come back to the game, it just isn't the same anymore. Whatever the reason, it doesn't have to mean the end of all the good times you've had with the people you've met in our community.

Win Everyday will be starting gaming chapters within many upcoming releases in the MMO market. EverQuest Next, Wildstar, and Star Citizen are currently in our sights for future establishment. Maybe you don't have any interest in those games? Maybe you don't even want to get into the next generation of MMOs and would rather play something old-school like Ultima Online or EverQuest? If leadership is your forte, then the infrastructure we offer provides you with a platform to start your guild or clan with ease. If you don't want to be bothered by the burden of command then our community is a great place to find like-minded people to game and have a good time with.
