There is a new announcement on the launcher, if you click on it you will get the following page:
ESO forums: The Road Ahead - May 1st

In it it discusses the launch of Craglorn, the bug fixes to date, the fight against bots and gold farmers (spamming), and what they are currently working on. It is "signed" Matt (Furor). FYI.

An interesting comment:
Matt Furor, ESO Wrote:we are giving an additional five days of included game time to every ESO player who set up an active account prior to 8pm EDT Thursday May 1st and who are currently enjoying their 30 days of included game time. If you’re eligible to receive the five additional days, a confirmation will be sent to your account’s registered email address.

I have not received such an e-mail yet, they may be waiting until the deadline expires to do them in 'one fell swoop.'

Skyrim conquerer. Morrowind and Oblivion vet. Long-time single-player computer gamer W/custom-made hi-perf OCd PC. Mostly RTS and a few action games.
Noob to MMOs.
Crappy satellite Internet very laggy pings 700-1000 not god for gaming, can't play most online games but ESO works good enough.

In the "future updates:"

Personally I am slightly excited about the FOV adjustment. It seems to me like I should see just a little bit wider of a view with my monitor.
Some ppl (not me) are going to be excited about "armor dying and tinting."
EU megaserver players will be VERY excited about "Migration of European Megaserver to our European datacenter!"

"Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood storyline and quests!"
I like this: "A justice system—steal from and kill NPCs and deal with the consequences if you are caught."

Not Set
I suggested we should be allowed to pickpocket NPCs in my beta survey but since I never heard back from them I assumed it was ignored among the millions of requests they have gotten. I have been able to intimidate a merchant into giving me gold but nothing much happened and the gold wasn't even worth effort. It was something like 20-50 gold can't remember exactly how much and you had to have the intimidation perk to do it. Pretty lack luster if you ask me. Kind of hard to play a rogue character if all you do is float around your faction playing hero to everyone in distress.

ESO = WIN

idk though, guild emblems and tabards should have been in launch honestly, armor dyes, seen those at launch in other games as well. looks like ESO fit the mold of "it takes 1 year for a mmorpg to mature" stereotype. regardless, im glad these things are in the works, whatever makes ESO the best the market has to offer the better!

I just received my e-mail of the extra 5 days.
"Over the next 72 hours we will be providing five additional days of Game Time added automatically to the accounts of all eligible players who are currently enjoying their 30 days of included Game Time."

Haven't received mine yet.
Seems like they won't do everything at once.

Just got it as well.
Free game time is always a welcome guest!

That "upcoming" section has a LOT of the main things that people want in this game that wasn't in at launch.

Tis generous of them to give away 5 free days. Disappointed they haven't mentioned a system in place which you can change your character's appearance i.e hair, piercings and facial/body markings. I had a problem at launch with the character zoom and woudl like to make soem corrections. Apart from that I look forward to others updates :]

Though a lot of people believe things should have been in at launch, and to a certain extent yes.
However by not including them they have a much more accurate description of what player do and do not want by the constant arguments on the forums, and all the feedback.

So now when they implement these ideas into the game they will come through as a higher quality.
Especially if they listened about the dyes!! (Which I maintain Alchemy should make, it gives the opportunity to add new reagents!)

I am very excited about these potential enhancements to crafting! Since I spent a majority of my time crafting

With a MMORPG people should never expect a lot of things to be in at launch because there are just so many more important and more difficult to test elements to any MMO.

Exactly.
Id rather wait a little longer for everything than for them to half ass rush it.
And if they were to put it all in at launch then by the time the game launched.. well it would be outdated or no longer what people want.
