So I watched two recent videos about Elder scrolls online but when I checked the comments guess what:

"Maybe Ill try the game when it goes free to play" 110 Likes,
"Shouldn't take more than a month" 52 likes.
"People still protecting this shitty game?" 17 Likes.

My question is, What is wrong with people? I've tried to talk to them but they are too stubborn to listen. Just because some dude called angry Joe said it sucked, then everyone in the world attack the game calling it pure Shit. Once again, what is wrong with people? Can't pay 15$ a month? They you shouldn't be able to Afford Internet or a home.
Not only that, but look on the comments at this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ov3B26h12C4 .
They say ESO will go F2P in 6 Months, What is wrong with people? They think they can make better games? Would like to see them try.

I would have gotten ESO for launch, but MR blizzard got warlords of draenor announced before ESO's launch, Im a WoW fan, played it for 9 years now, so its pretty hard to just "let it go" (Ba dum tss).

Does anyone become furious about this? 15$ a month is not much, just because one dude called annoying angry Joe says the game sucks, Doesent mean It does, get your shit together!

The sad thing is that because of failed MMOs in the past that have gone F2P, now everybody thinks that should happen if the game is not perfect.
So they claim they will wait until it goes F2P.
In which the only reason the game goes F2P is because people wont pay when its not..

Then when games go F2P, people complain endlessly and wont play because of the compromises companies make to sustain a game via F2P models.

So people do not even realize their attitude is destroying and entire genre and its purely because they do not want to pay for something good.

I believe ESO is definitely good enough to maintain a P2P plan, I just hope that people out there grow up and realize they are only destroying the game by 'waiting' for it to go F2P.

Also TESO cannot go on F2P model on Xbox, even if they liked it to do so. (MS Live policy).

Hence going to be P2P until the end of days for all 3 platforms.

Like it or leave it. As game is superb, and entertaining, worth every single penny.

It's a matter of value that people put on the game. I can afford to play it, In fact I'm playing a subscription game right now. My various dislikes over time and the direction the developers went have turned me off. I have decided that No, it's not worth 15 a month for me to play something that gives me an overall feeling of "Ehh It's ok".

I formed this opinion well before these popular reviews stumbled onto youtube, which is why I semi-vanished form the forums for a while now. Not everyone is a sheep to the reviewers believe it or not. People just have an opinion that is different form yours, and that's life.

Anyway just giving you the thoughts of someone on -that side-

There is nothing wrong with those people.
They just don't like the game.

Also, most mmorpg's that have come out in the recent 2-3 years still using a P2P subscription have gone F2P which is what they expect from a mmorpg these days.

Don't really agree with that but it's what they think and on the internet there is not much that can be done against them.

Have you compared these "comments" to other (paid) MMOs during the first month or two after PC launch (in recent history only)? I think this is just normal, you will always see comments like this W/as many "likes" for the negative ones. You can't really glean any meaning from it without comparing to similar history, and many occurrences to rule-out the flukes. It's like saying "the new president has 2,000,000 ppl that say they don't like him. So he must be bad," when in fact he has 400,000,000 ppl that do like him - that aren't bothering to come forward and say so (no correlation to current president).

haha I was about to start flaming the crap about this post until you said (no correlation to current president)

Well played sir my "thanks Obama" will have to wait for another thread

On topic though its very aggravating to see such a well put together MMO with innovative and fresh design with arguably alot of bugs that are being fixed daily be treated as If it were SWTOR I played that game from alpha-now and the company that runs it on top of customer support has earned alot of its fan hatred. I at one point had to re install the entire game every time there was a patch and I was not alone.

This game has done REMARKABLY better and is a remarkably better game in my opinion.

People think their cool when they say they wont play it etc but, People are also HORRENDOUS liars because half of the people on those like lists and everything else are playing the game right now.

Oh and that includes AngryJoe because he will be online tomorrow on skull crusher at 3:00PM Central Standard Time lol I like angry joe but he just did it to get attention because attention is what lets him stay home play video games and laugh at us as we all drive to work.

I have always thought reviews were pointless and contrived including business reviews. The reason for that is because people are liars they are liars and slanderers they will say anything to get something for free and do anything to convince people for slights they perceived against them.

All the information including free testing of the game was available and is available if someone cant risk $60.00 on a possible 4 year entertainment platform then dont but, to blindly follow reviews is why we call them sheeple.

I just think that society sucks now a days most people in the world will take peoples words for everything like someone can have a bad game and he will tell everyone the game sucks and those people will believe him and they wont ever give the game a try. And then theres the people that just hate everything and there seems to be a lot of people that just criticize everything way to much because they want attention like a guy i know will get all the new games and he says they all suck and its really annoying. Honestly no game is actually really bad and people are just ridiculous and way too needy if you like the game than thats good dont even pay attention to the people who talk shit about it and remember this is a website full of people who like the game so not everyone hates it.

To be honest I couldn't care what critics say, as long as I enjoy the game i'll play.

If you wanna follow one person's opinion, and their little followers then do so.

This game has earnt my money.

Think about it im uk so £9 a month.

I've racked up 4 days of playtime in less than that, and i haven't hit vet on any of my chars
Lets do the math(s) 4 days is 96 hours. so thats £9 for 96 hours, and counting, that's £1 for 10.666.... hours.

So, when you question the price tag. £1 for 10 hours, I dont see that as bad value

Gone to a better MMO, soz guys, it was fun.

When it comes to gaming and taste, it's not a matter of "can you pay $15 a month".

It's about wanting to.

If people choose to pay $50 for a new stamp for their collection, that is their call. They will not consider it wasted. A person who doesn't like stamps won't even consider spending that amount of money on a snip of paper.

I'm just saying.

Indeed. Just like I didn't consider my new flashlight a waste of $120, my wife was LIVID when she saw the charge on our debit account. Let's just say I now have to pick up some "Forced overtime" at work

Which is more difficult: To do as you wish? Or to have power and choose not to?

Hey, has this thread devolved into another "is it worth the subscription price" thread? C'me on guys, we've beat that dead horse to a pulp now.
I don't know about you, but personally I'm tired of half of the threads turning into the same 'ol debate, with the same 'ol arguments.
You've already said this in other threads. Notice: The OP hasn't posted since the OP, so he didn't lead this thread this way, so who did?

Don't be upset, and don't try to change their minds, it's just not going to happen. You aren't going to be able to talk them in to it any more than they are going to talk you out of it. Personally, I'd much rather them stay over in their other little games than fill zone chat with their complaints.
