Is it possible that if I have my main character as a brenton in Cyrodill fighting. Then I switch over to my khajiit character and enter Cyrodill and scout out the defences of a city. Then switch back to the Brenton and tell everyone what place will be the easiest to cap?

When Shadows Fall We Will Rise.

Noric Alabane - A Brenton scout who has had a terrible past
Zar'Karri - A wandering khajiit who wants to find his sister
Mira Mournshade - A dunmer assassin who seek revenge for her father
Whispers-With-Trees - An argonian slave who escaped and befriended Mira

If your AD character is on the same campaign but this is a great idea. It would be possible if you were to change campaign by spending in game gold to that on.

It's a good idea, but a bit unfair if you ask me. Well, extremely unfair.

But Other Factions will do it sooner or later. It just that noric the oblivious thought and post about it.

He wasn't the first to think of it and he won't be the last. Spies are common in FvF games and I hope measures will be taken to avoid it. It's a clear exploit and requires no skill, people shouldn't do it even if they are able.

Hopefully there will be no ridiculous outlines to tell if someone is an enemy so that we might be able to infiltrate effectively. If not we'll have to rely on on-location reports by scouts who snuck as close as possible.

Others will abuse this though and whilst I won't do it personally, some will prepare to fight fire with fire.

Actually I agree to be honest it takes the skill out.

I'm Sure this won't be able to happen for example if your playing a Battleground in WoW and you leave before the battle is done you get a debuff that won't allow you back into the battle and you can't reapply for another battle for a set amount of time asa punishment for deserting your faction

I agree, that's pretty unfair. Especially since you can't attack your own faction members, even in Cyrodil... so how would you deal with double agents if you found them?

Probably the easiest way to prevent this is to not allow more than one character of a certain account into the same campaign.

I believe you can only have characters from one faction per campaigning in order to prevent this.

It's people who do this sort of thing that ruin games for everyone. Lets hope they took this into account.

It is said you can only have one character per campaign.

Also, what I find funny is that people are always talking down on it like being a rogue, spy or assassin is honorable in the first place; those positions are honor less & honor is a trivial concept to such professions.

Why would even create multiple characters .... Just because spying? That is so low.... You dont trust your alliances and skills enough to play fair.

For me, im loyal to my first and only character i make.

By the way I wasn't planning on spying I was just bringing up a topic.

But actually that would be effective, combined with the ultimate guild strategical advantage.
But the again that idea is mostlikely used by other Alliances too, so there is no advantage.

Allthough i have good idea to fix that problem but i wont share it here where enemy alliances can see it.

One character for each faction per account? Personally i'd liked that you can use only one character, and you would choose wisely which one you take. But thats poor idea to prevent spying, you can always make another account.

This is why the generals disinform their own troops and only let their guild know where they will be attacking at the last moment.

Spying will work great as a tip off to say "Hey! Daggerfall Covenant is planning a mass attack to take our scroll!" to rally the troops for a counter offensive.

Whether you think it's ethical or not, doesn't matter. I personally won't be partaking in trying out the other Alliances. But I know there will be plenty that will.
