Many enjoy the power and leverage that comes with the abilities of a thief. My question is simply this:
What stealth skills do you feel compliment each other the best?

The hood of a thief with the heart of a soul gem.

What do you mean exactly? Do you refer to previous TES games or to TESO class and armour abilities?

Yes, I apologize that I hadn't specified.

I'm referring to the previous TES games, such as Oblivion, Morrowind, and Skyrim.

Archery and Sneak, having arrows rain down unto your targets, without them even noticing you, I love just being able to put arrows through people brains, and walk off without having some enraged Nord screaming at me. Passively, planting evidence in someone's pockets alerting the guards, and stealing everything while they're being taken away by the guards, it worked really good in Skyrim and Oblivion.

Gone to a better MMO, soz guys, it was fun.

In Skyrim it is quite fun to plant poisons into people's pockets and then attack, so Sneak, Pickpocketing and Alchemy can work together quite nicely :)

Illusion and Conjuration, use rage to make my enemies murder eachother, then summon up something fierce to finish the one who lives.

Alchemy, Archery, Sneak. If you throw in a little Smithing and Enchanting you can one-shot the toughest foes without being seen or hit.

Whoa, if you plant poison in someone's pocket does it poison them!

Yeah, you can put for example paralyse or if you have an enchanted weapon you can put a poison of averison to this element and then attack to get more damage.
