Skyrim or Black Marsh. Both inhospitable in their own ways.

Unfortunately, the fact that there isn't really any fast-travel in Morrowind (I had it on the xbox, alright?) Made it a little tedious to find where I wanted to go. It slightly tainted my view of it. Not to mention I HATE cliff racers. With those two things changed, Morrowind would most likely be it. However, it gets bonus points for having someone fall out of the sky with a couple of amazingly fun jump scrolls.

I would honestly say Solstheim. In both Morrowind and Skyrim, it was a nice area. Nice long plains of snow in the former. Beautiful waterfalls/rivers and amazingly made dungeons in the latter, although I think it could stand to be a bit bigger and less ashy on the south side (yes, lore, but scenically it would look better). Also, it had a nice throwback to the falling super-jumper.

Black Marsh, it makes no sense to live there.

Summerset Isles ... never been there but I do love their Sunhold Champagne!

Seeing as my experiences in tes games is limited to Morrowind/Oblivion/skyrim. And I don't really know all that much about the other regions beyond bare basics, if anything. I would have to say skyrim due to the whole norse/viking vibe it has going for it.

Skyrim because of the dark/cold touch to it. And Cyrodiil b/c it has a bit of every region in it while the heartland around white-gold tower is beautiful.

Do you mind? I'm busy doing the fishstick. It's a very delicate state of mind!

Although I understand where people are coming from when they say Cyrodiil was made a little too bright, I can see why the developers did that. Cyrodiil is the heart of the empire. What do you imagine when someone says "look at our land of rich soils and lush flora in the booming center of the empire where the weather is nice"? It certainly isn't dark and gritty like Morrowind. Skyrim is beautiful for the snowy mountains and that savage undertone to everything. Cyrodill isn't naturally savage, nor is it snowy. Vvardenfell has the volcano and ash fall, so it naturally leads to a dark, gritty feel. Although we know that under the surface it isn't all smiley faces, the imagery of the heart of a prosperous and booming empire should reflect good times.
