Well guilds can take ownership of keeps or resources of Alliance controlled properties, so yes maybe? I never played Age of Conan so I can't really compare the two fairly.

No. You can control a Keep or resources. Aoc was bad, those were instanced and had no real meaning.

Be guided by the Hand of Justice or be Crushed by the Fist of the Tribunal.

Owning a keep allows your Guild Store (private AH) to be open to the public at that location as well.

I absolutely wish this feature was in game. Even if it takes quite a lot of work from the guild.

It would especially be awesome if we could claim large plots of land in the open world with a limited amount of them up for grabs of course -- but it'd be a helluva money sink for the game as well.

I personally think that having an entire city just for your guild would be a bad idea and would break lore. Now I suppose if your guild was pretty powerful you could use an already existing city as a base but you wouldn't have ownership of it by any means.

The controlling keeps would be the closest you could get to having a city.

We dont know every city add fighter/mages guilds (first) as buildings - we need to location them first... Thievies/Dark Brotherhood guilds come later. They are normally NPC guilds. I am sure you get a new quest from a person who want to join them for you.
