Having trouble deciding which faction to join?

Ladies and Gentlemen, Men and Mer, Feline and Reptile!!! It's that time again, Theodyne Robillard here and after scowering through many many internets, I have come across something that I believe to be worth mentioning.

With 9 races spread across 3 different factions, it can be difficult when making a choice. But I have found something that I believe should help a lot of you when making that choice. Now a lot of you out there will end up going with your old favorites, (Breton) , but for those of you who are planning on trying out a race you haven't yet played, or maybe you're a first time TES player, in which case congratulations on joining the awesomeness that is The Elder Scrolls!!! I have run across a a little screenshot here that will prove useful.

That's right people! Racial skill lines are back!!! From what I gather, the racial skill lines will run along the same lines as the ones we had in Oblivion but will be tweaked to fit the new "morphing skills" that The Elder Scrolls Online will be bringing to the table. Not much on the skill morphing has been revealed but from what I gather, after using a certain skill a number of times, you will get the opportunity to alter said skill in 1 of 2 ways which will even further guarantee that your character will be truly unique to you and your play style. Whether you choose for your summoned Daedra to stay in battle longer, or choose for him to deal more damage, the choice is truly going to be yours how your character and his/her skills evolve.

But with certain features being added to the new title, as well as some being taken out such as under water swimming (Argonian's underwater breathing), I am anxious to see what other racial skills will be added to the game as more information is released.

Now let's also not forget the landscape, while everyone will be available to venture around in Cyrodiil, there are some places in Tamriel that we haven't seen yet, and some of our old favorites are being brought back. Do you wish to return to the snow capped mountains of Skyrim? Or would you like to run through the forests of Valenwood?

And let's not forget the fact that each race will have it's own unique armors. For example, while everyone will be able to wear the same equipment, things such as Iron Armor, etc. will look differently on each race.

So while you are contemplating on which race you wish to be, keep in mind there are many different factors to consider when choosing your character. Whether it be your play style, your surroundings, your racial skills, the way your armor will look, even your political views, (Hail King Emeric) , will play a part in creating your character.

But between now and release in Spring 2014, we have lots of time to decide and Zenimax Online Studios has plenty of information to release before the next TES title hits the shelves. So there is no need to rush!!! Take your time and choose wisely. Will you lead The Daggerfall Covenant to victory? Will you help The Ebonheart Pact conquer Tamriel? Or will you help The Aldmeri Dominion take The Ruby Throne? The choice is yours and yours alone.

Until next time, I am Theodyne Robillard, Hail King Emeric!!!!!

Wait....THEY'RE TAKING OUT UNDERWATER SWIMMING!? I guess recreating the battle of Bethal Grey (as described in the book 2920, Midyear) in Cyrodiil is out of the question then...Sad day. :\

A sad day indeed, it also means no underwater treasures or exploring sunken ships

A sad day indeed, thinking about the fact that our argonian mates won't now be able to run away and hide under the water surface from those wood elf arrows :/

It will probably be a utility spell that everyone can learn now.

Wrong... There is no underwater swimming at all... I did see earlier today on tamriel foundry that the argonians can swim faster than other races.
