Today my sons purchased for me The Elder Scrolls online game at a local retail store...
can i start playing now or should i return it for the 60$ and wait until the March 17th release of the no monthly subscription fee Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited? ?
i am not asking this well but i am not sure what to do ... have been searching
for the answer on all kinds of places online but no luck so far... and are the
people of Elder Scrolls who have been paying all this time going to
not like, not help, ignore those of us who waited until the sub to play ended??

I'd say play it now. Then you could say that you played ESO when it had the sub fee :D

I wouldn't wait, as you gain nothing by putting it off. Your account will automatically be converted to the Tamriel Unlimited version, and you can choose at that time if you wish to pay the sub fee for the premium stuff, or go no sub and a la carte. Also, the other two posts have valid reasons as well, so it is really a win-win scenario for you to go ahead and start playing. Those who have been playing may not be happy that they paid a sub fee all that time for the company to change the model at this point, but I don't think any of them would take out that frustration on new players. More than likely there will be a significant influx of new players, and returning players, so even if a few of the long time players were jerks to you, there would still be plenty of people worth playing with in this game. Hope you enjoy it!

The fires burn. Our supplies are spent. Axes are dull, and armor is rent. The enemy approaches, our doom, they seek. We are Daggerfall Covenant. We are Orcs. Our comrades, they come, for glory they seek, at the side of our iron and steel. We will not fall.

when you purchase ESO you get a sub free month so honestly play it now then when the sub free edition comes out the rest of you free month will be converted into ESO plus membership if i remember from the website's article correctly.

Well, actually, I bought it at the end of last month, so my 30 days free will run over into the ESO subscription removal, so play away. The subscription time you have that runs over the release of Tamriel Unlimited will be converted to ESO plus, too. So really, you're getting it sub free, which is why I advised my friends and family to play it after Feb 18th so that they technically have Tamriel Unlimited for a month before the official release date!

Play away!
