They are going to play as the race they want, but those who would have liked to play as the imperials (such as myself) are going to have to pay out an extra 20 quid which is annoying to say the least.

My guess is that most Imperials will be seen either in AD or EP. I don't see a reason why to roll one in DC when you have Bretons there.

Molag Bal guide us. Molag Bal teach us. Molag Bal protect us.
In Your darkness we thrive.
In Your mercy we are sheltered.
In Your wisdom we defeat death.
We die to serve.
Our souls are Yours.

I think more than likely you will see a lot of Imperials in DC, they fit the ideals a little better than the other alliances.

least likely AD in my mind.

Either way, i have pre-ordered Imperial edition and I will being using an Argonian in EP..
I will make an imperial at a later point, but as per my usual tradition with TES, First and best character is an Argonian, always has been that way.

imperials are great but for me that they are avalible in the imperial edition is just a bonus.

if they where not in the ce edition i would be a high elf. but imperial. they will most likely have a heavy armour bonus. and templar's usually atleast in my head look good in heavy armour after all they are used to figthing.
+ imperials i suspect just atleast in theory i think they will have a sword + shield bonus templars are good for healing + i suspect they will be good for tanking so for a mmo that usually got not enough tanks or healers.

This for me is a great combo :) but offcourse nothing is released and no beta testers i know of have had the pleasure of testing imperials so i could be really wrong about what i expect the imperials to be ilke but we will find out in 3 months :) eitherway i want the horse and the rings so its a win win situation for me and i dont mind the treasure map and early playtime

I dont know if they have those either from what ive heard it takes the racial skills and bonuses from another race so lets you play as a high elf you get there skills and bonuses but you get to look like an imperial but I dont know if thats just talk cause people love to spread rumors

I asked for feedback on what the imperials will have and got this....With the Imperial Edition, players get the opportunity to play as a rogue Imperial who has broken from their Daedra worshipping ways, and they get a unique racial skill line of equal gameplay impact to other races’ unique racial skill lines. As an Imperial, players also get a mount and the automatic ability to craft items into the Imperial style. All non-Imperial races can also learn this ability after locating the corresponding racial motif. Imperials do not begin the game in a unique starting location or via a separate quest, but they can start in any alliance as befits their status as un-aligned outcasts of their own Province. Being an Imperial includes a racial skill line that offers unique gameplay opportunities, but there is not an overall gameplay advantage. It is an opportunity to set oneself visually apart in the lands of Tamriel.

Gameplay benefits within this edition have been designed to avoid bestowing unfair advantages over players who do not purchase this special edition. This is cool content designed for some of our biggest fans who wish to have something different from other collector’s editions in the market. The only other alternative would have been to offer a collector’s edition that offers no in-game items whatsoever. That simply didn’t seem fair to fans who are excited about the game and want some special digital items.

About that my friend, you know what would have been the BETS SMART MOVE for this company regarding that... Instead of one 'imperial edition' it would be awesome if they should have include all races edition. An edition for Ad's Ep's and Dc's I mean I am a Ad (a proud one woot woot!!) but being more serious about this situation I am not going to buy that edition, because it requires to be an imperial/nord etc... and that is a low blow for the other players that represent proud their alliances.

P.s I don't know that is just me.
